@LSTurulja @viditnanda @LSTurulja I recommend deleting this post. Whether your characterisation of most “modern mathematicians” is accurate or not (and it should not be debated here), it is not an appropriate thing to write in response to this thread. Particularly given Martin’s own active lifestyle.
@viditnanda Thanks for writing this. I remember Martin with much fondness. A significant loss to the community — my condolences to those close to Martin.
@AntonyGreenElec what do you think the chance is, at the moment, that Vardy will get the second ACT Senate seat? Seems like it’s mathematically possible?
@clhubes Love that you included a photo of you at Burrunggui :-) Was that taken a little after the events you detailed in the following?

I've covered every budget since 1998. They normally don't leave me angry. But a $6.5b decision forced on the current government contained in last week's budget is still upsetting me .. https://t.co/UkfCNjY61Y
@jacquiavelli For today’s, I think this counts as normal. The purple row was not particular obscure. Other days, having yellow and green first in some order is almost necessary.
@littmath@Josh_Merfeld To be fair, maybe that’s what counts as “winning” to them. If it’s a gambling game with a per-point reward, played many times over …
Anyway, I think a sizeable bunch of people gave the correct answer to the wrong question when answering your initial survey.
