@hartgoat Motor on our 20 yr old Maytag went out Monday. Repairman told us they are no longer available. We purchased a new Speed Queen, old style twist knobs, nothing electrical. Repairman said average lifespan on new units is 5-7 years. Chose to pay more to get a better product.

@HowThingsWork_ Had an uncle that worked on ships like these, no thanks. Took a tour of the Boyer when it was docked in Toledo. There was a pic in the wheelhouse with all the cargo covers underwater. I asked guide if that pic was taken on this ship, he said no, on another one I worked on.
