@daved01970 Well, the object in the foreground looks like a BBQ grill made from a 44Gal drum. But as this is made from pastic it must be a mechanics wash trough, or some sort of art work...
@ellymelly An explanation.
Every person who starves to death statistically reduces the number of starving people.?
...probably makes sense in the halls of bureaucracy...
@kelly_ques Drivers who believe traveling 10kph under the limit are doing everyone a favour. As a courier it costs me money I can't afford. Over a day it's 40-50km I can't do and customers I can't get to.
@ellymelly 5: Local government restricted to their boundaries by state Governor.
6: Reps paid mean income of their electorate.
7: Introduce trigger for electorate to fire a rep.
@ellymelly 3: Optional preferential voting.
4: Compulsory Voting @ 25. 18+ can vote if they pass a thorough civics test and can understand how gov. works.
@theoztrucker Two different things that would improve our country.
1. Replace state gov with a state governor whose job is to keep local councils within their boundaries.
2. At least 3 reps per federal seat with cabinet and opp in Canberra and the rest on Skype in vacant state parliaments.
@ellymelly I'm a courier in Adelaide, you know one of the people who bring you all the stuff you order online. I'm already down to an average of 26Kph. I'm paying more for fuel and getting less done. So don't be surprised when you find your prices going up! And yes you do pay for delivery!
@juliemonry It feels like we are in one of those movies where someone with a time machine stepped on a butterfly and out timeline is slowly changing...
@kelly_ques Safety signs!
Signs for stupid people have become so prolific that you can't find the information you actually need.
They have become like HiVis vests, everyone is wearing them so you no longer see them.
