Why do all politicians presume we accept their blather? All politicians sloaganeer. Promises over substance. The world is complex and difficult. I have voted in every election for 50 years. Leaders are SUPPOSED to have our backs. Our country is imperfect but at war. Doing is hard, talk is cheap.
