This happened to Bernt Herlitz in 2017.

When he appealed the unfair dismissal he ultimately lost and was fined about $50,000.

He and his family faced financial hardship and almost lost their home, until some generous benefactors raised money for him. Bernt remains unemployed today, despite staff shortages for dentists in his area in Gotland.

At the time, Sweden scoffed at the tests and claimed they were “discriminatory” but since then they have quietly brought in mass dental testing, for those whose age is in doubt, by the National Board of Forensic Medicine.

I used to live in AZ near the Navajo reservation so I heard about all the code talkers. They had to do the same thing so made up things like “big hat” for Admiral.

Now all the intelligence agencies in the world have to learn Navajo in case in case tricksy Americans do something like that again…

Wonder if there are Russian and Chinese spies watching any video podcast with your daughter to copy the lingo.

Here's a bit of trivia info:

@DataRepublican and @DataInterpretr have worked together for years. When my daughter is required to present or be interviewed, they spend quite a bit of time preparing and going over notes together to make sure they get it exactly right.

Years ago, when Jennica went to work for Snapchat, they started providing interpreters for her at meetings and such. Just about every interpreter refused to return because the language that they were required to interpret was so technical and unfamiliar.

BUT, @DataInterpretr, hung in there. She found it fascinating and was willing to put in extra effort to learn the vocabulary. In fact, the two of them invented signs for some of the "tech" terms that have become mainstream in the deaf community today.

And the bonus is that they are great friends in real life. It's truly a God thing that they found each other. I couldn't be more proud of them both.
