After roundtripping a legitimate house on $LABUBU into a substantial loss, I had to regroup and rethink how I trade memecoins.

Labubus are so viral you can go to a 3rd world country and the shops there have them.

Make no mistake, Labubu is still one of the most viral things currently in 2024/2025. They’re not going anywhere any time soon.

So how could the largest viral product in the world lose steam as a coin?

The answer is both extremely simple and extremely complex. Memetics and social capital are often mistaken for virality. Many of you know this; I may be preaching to the choir, but it’s important to preface my thought process with this.

Memecoins are extremely catalyst based, where very little conviction exists outside of things like: X person bought, or X person might tweet.

In the circumstance of LABUBU, it was completely omnipresent, meaning the collective believed there was more and more catalysts yet to come.

Meanwhile, the group of people who made Labubu truly break out (as a product), children, began the reversion of hating something because it became too popular.

You can see this exact same price action on the previous omnipresent meme of Skibidi Toilet.

I’m going to preface this with; I believe 67 can go higher.

This is not meant to FUD your $67 bags, in fact, I’ve done very well trading 67 with a moonbag still remaining; but I have to say this:

There’s not a single person reading this holding 67 that doesn’t plan at one point absolutely nuking their position. You’re lying if you say otherwise.

I trade 67 for solely momentum and not for conviction. I’m taking as much of your money as I can before someone decides to take mine. It’s predatory in nature; and that’s the basis case of all trend memecoins.

When we look at memecoins that reached a level where they will be permanently traded because there’s too much liquidity not to, what commonality do we see?

$DOGE the first of its kind and defined the memetics of crypto trading.
$SHIB & $FLOKI are the 2 to complete the 3 of dogs.

$PEPE, a bear market hero coin and a meme that walked since the infancy of crypto. PEPE molded into an omnipresent meme who we related to within our space and eventually broke out into commonality use.

While calling $Wojak a PEPE beta is wrong, I do believe Wojak is inherently undervalued because you can replace every “PEPE” in the paragraph above with Wojak.

They all come in 3s, and currently there are no others on the pedestal with PEPE.

I want to make this very clear:

I don’t own $Wojak because I want to dump on people.

I own $Wojak because eventually a Wojak will provide me a position so large it doesn’t matter if I ever sell.

I’m specifically saying “a” Wojak; because I’ve owned at least 5 Wojak coins this cycle.
