Breaking news Pete Alonso to the Orioles on a 5 year 155M deal… and Baltimore just plugged a superstar right into the heart of a young, hungry lineup. That’s a perfect fit and a win for everyone involved, and Pete finally gets the respect he deserves.

But let’s be real… something is off in Queens. First the Díaz deal was absolutely matchable, now letting the Polar Bear walk on a deal that was absolutely matchable. You don’t lose dudes like that unless there really may be some dysfunction behind the scenes. And at some point you have to ask… did Pete even want to go back to that supposedly unstable environment at the moment?
