Mrityunjoy Chakraborty, IIT Kharagpur professor:
"Jane Street pays a 22 year old $500,000 a year for one skill: turning uncertainty into a number you can bet on. that number is the first thing this professor teaches, and it is free"
this free lecture is the foundation every quant bot and hedge fund model is secretly built on.
before the AI, before the strategy, there is one question. what is the chance this happens, exactly.
get that number right and every bet after it is just math. get it wrong and no model, no bot, no amount of compute can save you.
Chakraborty builds probability from the axioms up, on a blackboard, in notation a 15 year old can follow.
Wall Street sells this as a $500,000 edge. an IIT professor hands you the source code for nothing.
Is there actually a secret formula to getting a Private Coupe in 1AC
or is it just pure luck ?
A passenger claims that he has been getting a 2 berth Private Coupe in 1AC repeatedly,
and according to him, it's not about luck or connections,
it's all about following a specific booking pattern.
Here's what he says works
Book tickets for a husband and wife with the same surname.
Always add the details of a child under 5, even if the child does not require a separate seat.
Most importantly,
book the ticket from the train's originating station to its final destination,
even if you plan to board later or get off earlier.
According to the passenger,
this makes it easier for the chart preparation staff to allocate the entire coupe to one family
instead of splitting it among different passengers.
However, neither Indian Railways nor IRCTC has officially confirmed that this method increases your chances of getting a Private Coupe.
So, this should be treated as one passenger's personal experience
not a guaranteed trick.
If this really works,
would you try this booking method the next time you travel in 1AC ?
Or do you think getting a Private Coupe is purely a matter of luck ?

India is a regulatory minefield for crypto right now
if you are moving funds abroad through crypto without RBI approval can be enough to trigger a FEMA probe
ED is now actively investigating crypto firms
- USDT transfers
- Cross-border OTC deals
- Shell companies
- Unlicensed remittance routes
One FEMA case can freeze bank accounts, scare investors and destroy a company’s reputation overnight
crypto compliance is no longer optional in India
Patterns > History
History is nothing more than change over time, which makes it a fucking ironic tool to use when trying to predict the future.
If history were such a good map for the future, why has no one ever called crises back to back?
Fuck it, make it simpler.
Why do we still have crises?
If the map works, you should not keep ending up lost in the same place, right?
The best way I have found to explain this is Dollo’s Law of Irreversibility. Once a species loses a trait, it usually does not get it back, because the path that created that trait was too complex and too path-dependent to recreate.
So now imagine going long chickens because they were once T-Rexes.
Retarded, right?
Well, a lot of the theses you source for your trading are based on that same logic. They look at what something once was and assume that means it can be that again.
On a long enough time frame, that is how you end up poor.
So stop longing the chickens and start longing evolution.
Evolution is the pattern.
Patterns are better maps because they study repetition. A pattern is a regularity in the world. It gets stronger the more it repeats. And repetition has always been a winner’s weapon.
So practice pattern recognition.
Study the setup instead of the history, because the setup is usually the same:
Same incentive.
Same leverage.
Same behavior.
Same euphoria.
Same panic.
Study those hard and you will likely outperform the history enthusiasts, which are usually the players you are sourcing your trades from.

Had a Jane Street interview in 2013 that still bothers me.
It was my 6th round. Final interview. The guy walks in carrying no laptop, no notebook, just a cold brew and what I later realized was a single IKEA tea candle.
He writes on the whiteboard:
food: $200
rent: $800
utilities: $150
candles: $3,600
family: dying
Then he turns around and says, “Optimize.”
I laughed because I thought it was a culture-fit bit. He did not laugh.
So I said, “Well, obviously you spend less on candles.”
He says, “Assume candles are non-discretionary.”
Okay.
I start building a model. Basic constraint satisfaction. Family survival as a soft penalty. Candles as a state variable. Maybe there’s an arbitrage where you buy wholesale paraffin and convert the $3,600 line item into inventory.
He stops me.
“You’re thinking like a consultant.”
That’s when I knew I was in trouble.
He says, “Give me a bid-ask on family dying.”
I say, “What?”
He says, “You’re long candles, short family. Where do you make markets?”
I try to recover. I say the real issue is liquidity: rent and utilities are fixed, food is elastic, candles are emotionally inelastic. Therefore the optimal strategy is to securitize future candle enjoyment and borrow against it.
He nods for the first time.
Then he asks, “What time do you sell the candles?”
I say, “Whenever the market is liquid?”
He says, “Be more specific.”
I say, “Uh… 10 a.m. Eastern?”
For the first time, he smiles.
He goes, “Every day?”
I say, “Every day.”
He says, “In size?”
I say, “In size.”
He says, “And what do we call that?”
I say, “Market manipulation?”
The room gets very quiet.
He looks disappointed and writes something down.
“No. We call it providing liquidity to candle ETFs during the U.S. cash open.”
I try to save it. “Right. Of course. The family isn’t dying because we underfunded them. They’re just experiencing temporary price discovery.”
He nods again.
Then he points back at the board.
I had missed it. The utility bill was $150, but candles provide light. You can zero out utilities.
I update the budget:
food: $200
rent: $800
utilities: $0
candles: $3,750
family: still dying, but now in a more capital-efficient way
He says, “How confident are you?”
I say, “0.95.”
He smiles and circles candles.
“0.95 huh?”
Then he asks me to estimate how many leveraged longs get liquidated if we dump $3,750 of candles at 10:00:01 every morning for 90 consecutive trading days.
Needless to say I did not get the offer.
Every cheap dopamine hit is paid back with interest. Andrew Huberman put the rates on paper. Chocolate 55% above baseline. Sex 100%. Nicotine 100%. Cocaine 225%. Amphetamine 1000%. Read that list as the size of the interest payment that follows each one.
Dopamine operates on a peak-trough system. Every spike above baseline is paid back with a dip below it. The bigger the peak, the deeper and longer the trough. Your brain is defending equilibrium.
A cocaine hit at 225% above baseline produces a physiological deficit below baseline when it wears off. Normal rewards can't clear the new floor.
Then the receptors downregulate. D2 density drops with repeated exposure. You have fewer receivers. The next hit registers at a smaller fraction above a lower baseline. Same money, less feeling, deeper crash. Compound interest on the original spike.
Now the "cheap" part, which is the whole mechanism. The dopamine release curve has two phases: anticipation and consumption. Earning something loads most of the dopamine into anticipation, spread across hours or days. Your brain evolved for that curve. Anticipation IS the reward architecture.
Scrolling, porn, pills, and slot machines collapse anticipation to zero. The full curve compresses into a single sharp spike. Same total dopamine, completely different shape. The compressed shape triggers receptor downregulation.
Huberman's line: any high amount of dopamine that comes to you without effort will eventually destroy you.
The mechanism explains why. Effort is the biological rate limiter that keeps dopamine release slow enough for baseline to survive. Take the rate limiter off, and your baseline is the currency cheap dopamine actually costs.
The gym bro eating 200g protein a day has the same testosterone as his 55 year old dad
Half that protein is rotting in his gut instead of building muscle
His stomach acid is gone. Protein isn't breaking down. Bacteria are feeding on the undigested food and producing a toxin that goes straight into his blood
That toxin suppresses the cells in his balls that make testosterone. Directly
So he eats more protein. His gut ferments more of it. More toxin. More inflammation. Lower T. Worse recovery. Less muscle. More fat around the waist
His doctor says 380 is "within range"
Meanwhile the guy at his gym who eats less, trains 3x a week, and tracks nothing is growing faster
His gut works. Same chicken breast. One guy turns it into muscle tissue. The other turns it into bacterial fuel
Had a client drop from 200g to 120g protein while we fixed his gut. Put on more size in 8 weeks than the previous 6 months
Ate less. Grew more
Because he was finally absorbing what he ate instead of fermenting it
Your gains are behind your digestion

I tried taking daily 5mg cialis after seeing people recommend it to me.
It turned me into a ln absolute monster and I didn’t realize it until it was say too late.
I spent $4250 on dating app boosts and super likes over the course of 3 months, I added 95 to my body count during that time.
I was blocking off hours of my work calendar for scheduled intercourse. My work suffered and I lost my job. But I didn’t care I just wanted booty all the time, all I thought about, every moment of every day.
My testicals shriveled to the the size of raisins. I ran out of money, and became homeless, and that’s when it got dark.
I had to seduce a girl from a dating app to survive, to get a shower, to steal snacks to feed myself. My standards went to 0. But I did not care. I was enjoying my life like no other.
My friends stepped in and grabbed me.
They found me in a North Philly crack den, at the home of Shawna, a 295 black Woman who survived by selling her prescription Zoloft and fresh pies to the locals.
They looked together and sent me to rehab in the Bahamas. I was on a compound which consisted of Tiger Woods, Charlie Scheen, and Amy Schumer, to cure my sexual addiction.
But that did it, that was the help I needed, and I subsequently snapped out of cialis fueled sec psychosis and returned to my normal life.
In June 2025 on 4chan, an anonymous poster dropped what he called 'the script' — a full timeline predicting the next phase of global events.
He warned of Israel breaking ceasefires and striking Iran, Trump responding aggressively with bunker busters, Iran hitting all Gulf oil fields and U.S. bases, oil prices skyrocketing, failed invasions, U.S. civil war, tactical nukes, then a staged fake alien invasion using synthetic soldiers released by MJ12.
By 2027 — 5 billion dead and a one world government.
The war's early phases are unfolding eerily close to the script: Israel struck Iran after fragile truces collapsed, Trump unleashed bunker-busters on hardened sites, Iran retaliated by hitting Gulf oil fields and U.S. bases, oil prices exploded, and the U.S. surged carriers into theater (two active now—Lincoln and Ford—with a third, Bush, on the verge of joining).
Coincidence or did an anon really leak the playbook?
a major inefficiency that very few people know about
funding rate time arbitrage
kucoin - we open a short
aster - we open a long
this puts us in a delta-neutral position, but kucoin pays funding every hour, while aster only charges funding once every 4 hours
so we literally receive funding payments every hour, and after collecting three payments we can close both positions and lock in the profit
you can find similar setups in my parser

Polarity is key to sexual alchemy, but we can find both yin and yang within our own bodies:
"Even if you are alone, without a lover, and never intend to procreate, your body produces the sperm and transforms it into creative sexual energy. So you can always transform this stored sex energy into spirit, your pure awareness, and express it through creative personality at will."
