Quiero contarles sobre Karin Journo. Tenía solo 24 años. Amaba la vida, le encantaba sonreír e irradiaba luz allá donde iba.

El 7 de octubre, a pesar de tener una pierna rota debido a una lesión sufrida pocos días antes, Karin fue con sus amigos al festival de música Nova para celebrar y bailar. A las 6:30 a. m., cuando comenzaron los lanzamientos de cohetes, llamó a su madre para decirle que estaban suspendiendo la fiesta. A las 6:58, le envió la ubicación del festival y le dijo que ya se dirigían al coche para volver a casa.

Pero Karin nunca regresó a casa. A las 8:42, envió un mensaje al grupo de WhatsApp de la familia: "Mamá... papá, si no vuelvo a casa, que sepáis que os quiero". Su madre la llamó de inmediato. "¿Dónde estás? Dijiste que venías de camino a casa". Karin respondió: "Mamá, nos están disparando. Mamá, tengo miedo. Estoy aterrorizada". Esa fue su última conversación.

Debido a su pierna rota, Karin no podía correr. Mientras los terroristas abrían fuego por todo el recinto del festival, ella y otros jóvenes se refugiaron en el interior de una ambulancia. La ambulancia fue alcanzada por un proyectil RPG. Todos los que estaban dentro murieron y quedaron calcinados.

Esa misma tarde, los padres de Karin la buscaron desesperadamente entre los heridos, recorriendo el lugar y llamándola por su nombre. No estaba allí. Durante 11 días, su familia esperó sin saber qué le había sucedido.

Al undécimo día, unos funcionarios acudieron a su casa para informarles de que Karin había sido identificada. Su madre se negaba a enterrarla sin tener la certeza absoluta de que se trataba de ella. Karin tenía varios tatuajes pequeños, y su madre pidió ver cualquier señal que pudiera identificarla. Entonces le dijeron que no quedaba nada que ver.

Karin había sido identificada mediante el ADN de tres dientes. Tres dientes. Eso fue lo que su familia enterró.

Tras 137 días, se encontró el reloj de Karin. Estaba completamente quemado.

Una hermosa joven de 24 años, llena de vida, salió de casa para bailar con sus amigos. Lo único que quedó fueron tres dientes y un reloj quemado.

I filmed this in the first days after October 7. What I saw with my own eyes was darker.

When the barbaric and evil Hamas terrorists reigned terror on Israel, they found Miss. Shani Gabay.

Then they shouted "Allahu Akbar!"

Shani was a 3rd-year-law student and waitress.
Shani was not armed.
Shani was a woman of peace.

But Hamas didn't care.

First they shot her in the leg, but when she managed to flee to an ambulance, she found herself in an untenable situation with 17 other people.

Eventually, Hamas terrorists fired an RPG at the ambulance, knocking everyone unconscious, according to reporting from Lihie Gilhar.

People collapsed instantly. According to BTLP, not a single body was left intact. One fellow slain woman, Karin Journo, had to be identified by just three teeth that had not totally burnt.

Through this beautiful video Lihie made — we remember Shani Gabay — not as she died, but as the beautiful and bright young Jewish Israeli woman she was 💔
