An interesting approach to implementing protection against hacking/copying/analysis (?)
The bits are rearranged when connecting the ROM, and bits in the firmware are also rearranged accordingly.

Also, those 565RU7I chips my tester can’t fully test, for whatever reason all chips have some kind of glitches on its memory cells. Weird.

POISK-2 - [replica of] late Soviet IBM XT clone with i8086 processor and 2MB RAM. Quite interesting machine, way more capable than POISK-1.
It would be quite tricky to find a case for such AT board..

Tried to clean up as much as I can, with compressed air. It looks now decent (not fully clean), but it’s better than before. Unfortunately platters look very worn out, not sure if the disk is alive at least…

Works decent, but the unit is missing the original PCIe ADD2 video output card which could output analog signal to built-in SCART connector
