With this, even a flash-tier model like GPT 6 Luna or Haiku 5.5 can manage strong coding agents. They only need to nudge the agents while giving them full autonomy to decide on how to solve a task.
Hermes self-learning helps with adapting the workflow to your own preferences.
The next frontier of agentic development is reducing human cognitive load.
I'm working on seamlessly integrating Hermes to manage coding agents like Codex and Claude Code, while only escalating to a human when absolutely necessary.
@rezoundous I'm honestly surprised by how much I can get done with the $20 plan. My soon-to-be-expired Codex 200 plan just feels like the "budget/spam" option that I clean up with Opus 5.5.
@thsottiaux ultrafast is only for pro 500 and composer predictions is only for pro
not really relevant to most codex users is it?
while a reset would be appreciated, I can't even use my whole quota with sol 6.1 speeds...
This is really good advice. I feel like almost all of my career success can be attributed to talking to other people and getting their help or advice.
I won't discount my own efforts and skills but I wouldn't have gotten where I am without others.
the CS market is not cooked, you are. it is extremely easy to get an internship/job if you just ask.
i gave a talk w my bf ytd to some undergrads, a lot of ppl asked for my contact info which i happily gave and only one person has sent me a CV thus far.
i have gotten him 5 first round interviews at pretty good places. be courageous, the world will reward you as such. have more agency.
people gave me a shot when i started out and was far worse. I didn’t have anything so i will never pull the ladder up behind me.
As someone whose team at Amazon got offshored to India, I think this is a good move for workers.
As a Canadian, I do very much dislike the current US administration but even a broken clock is right twice a day.
BREAKING: The Trump administration is suspending Microsoft, Adobe, and several major IT outsourcing firms from a key employment-based green card program, accusing them of abusing the visa system at the expense of American workers.
Vice President JD Vance singled out Microsoft, saying the tech giant laid off 6,000 American workers while benefiting from 6,300 H-1B visas and nearly 3,000 green cards.
"You cannot lay off American workers and then replace them with foreign indentured servants."
The Labor Department says it will stop accepting new applications and processing pending applications from the targeted companies as federal investigations continue.

"Mathematicians did not ask for this work to be done."
Do we really need to get permission to advance human knowledge?
I relate with how sad it is to see our fields being taken over by AI, especially so as a software engineer. However, we must keep adapting with the times.
1/ As a software engineer, I've fully adopted AI in my workflows but I do sympathize with opponents of it.
I do feel sad at the current state of software engineering. It's not as exciting and fun as it used to be.
I can understand mathematicians opposing this.

i'm convinced that these companies moving away from AI are just gonna lose their moat to companies who go full AI-native.
using AI exposes the flaws in your architecture and processes, avoiding AI is just avoiding the problem.
