@fuckyouiquit 🧵1. This was a hot topic of discussion at two of my last employers. Both of them 24/7/365 manufacturing. 1 chemical & 1 food grade/pharmaceutical production. The process & maintenance personnel were expected to answer their phones and report to work anytime they were called.

@fuckyouiquit 2. They received no compensation for those times. The company made policies that allowed for up to 3 times of not answering & then disciplinary steps, rather than on call pay.I was management at the second. I was expected to drop what I was doing & go to work any time they called
