@BBCMOTD And is anyone in the media going to hold Howard Webb to account for how bad VAR and the standards of refereeing are?
Or are they going to continue to pander to him?
Slot’s going on about fucking set pieces again.
Nothing about the lack of fight or intensity. He made the subs at 2-1 that made us worse.
He’s an absolute womble
@mattladson@Jay82_LFC Exactly. Or bring Gomez on at the same time to help on the right.
Just seemed a strange decision at that point of the game. Take the 2-2 and get out of there, especially as they gifted us the two goals, and we had no striker.
@Tom_fairclough9 Not discussed at all. How a player can be scissor tackled and it’s just ignored is ridiculous. A player has been seriously injured and no-one questions why!
@BrianDurand56 You’re right. It was right in front of us. He was clearly tripped but stupidly stayed on his feet.
We are too naive/honest at the moment. Anyone else goes down and it’s a certain pen.
We’ve lost our street fighters.
@SamMcGuire90@PhilBlundell That was proven under Klopp when we had the centre back issues. He tried putting square pegs in round holes and when he put Williams and Phillips at CB things changed.
Slot has got to do the same. Play players in their best position. Don’t just play the best 11 players
@Knox_Harrington I totally agree with you. I want to see us playing with anger. Where we tell the ref to fuck off. We tell the opposition to fuck off. Even tell each other to fuck off at times and then support each other again.
We’re too soft right now.
Last thing re our team. They’re really young lads who would appear to have everything. All their needs have been looked after; they’re rich beyond belief beyond their wildest dreams. They’ve been protected in a lot of ways from things you and me might have to face.
But they have probably not faced losing someone so close to them, and were not remotely prepared.
Football is a massive part of our lives.. and they are aware of the privileged position they are in. But please don’t make these boys feel guilty for not fulfilling our personal dreams, and being the only conduit to our happiness. That simply isn’t fair. Support the mighty reds, but please put this amazing game into context. They need the #YNWA ethos now more than ever.
Rest in peace, Diogo..
Grief is so personal. There are no rules, no times for getting over it. Support them (manager included) during their most difficult path.
We say they are our family. Time to prove it.
