Anna De Fina, Professor of Italian Language and Linguistics in the Italian Department, was awarded the title of “Cavaliere della Repubblica Italiana“ in recognition of her work for the dissemination of Italian language and culture in the US.

Prof. Nicoletta Pireddu is the recipient of the 2023 Condé Nast Award. Founded in 1966, it is awarded by the College of Arts & Sciences to the faculty member who excelled in research, teaching, service and leadership. Prof. Pireddu was celebrated at the CAS Spring Convocation.
