I'm one step away from launching something I've spent months building.
My startup, SwiftFi Pay, is building a way for people to pay any merchant with stablecoins while merchants receive their local currency instantly.

The Fake “Major Bump Bot” Wallet Drain Scheme
Over the past 24 hours, I reviewed multiple screenshots, chat logs, payment messages, and wallet interactions connected to the Telegram bot known as @MaJ0rBump_Bot.
What initially looked like a “volume service” quickly turned into something much darker.
This is not a trading tool.
This is not AI automation.
This is a coordinated wallet-drain and social engineering operation targeting Solana meme coin communities.
Here’s what I found.
The scammers present themselves as a professional market-making service for @Pumpfun and Solana tokens. They use polished branding, automated-looking messages, fake analytics, and technical trading language to create legitimacy.
Their pitch is simple:
“We help projects maintain healthy chart movement through AI-powered volume management.”
Sounds sophisticated.
That’s intentional.
The bot claims it can:
• Detect heavy sell pressure
• Place strategic buy orders
• Stabilize charts
• Generate organic-looking activity
• Slowly rotate volume for “healthy growth”
Then victims are pushed toward paid “packages” like the Iron Package.
During one interaction, a user mentioned they could contribute 0.6 SOL.
Within seconds, the bot generated what appeared to be a live admin confirmation:
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
✅ PAYMENT CONFIRMED
0.6 SOL received
Token: Sol Coin
Mint: Sol11111111111111111111111111111111111
Volume: 90,500
Trend: ACTIVE
Remaining: 0.2 SOL
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
At first glance, it feels real.
But after analyzing the flow, several things became obvious:
1. The payment confirmation was fabricated instantly
2. The “volume metrics” were not verifiable on-chain
3. The urgency tactics were scripted
4. Victims were redirected to an “admin” after payment
5. Additional payments were encouraged immediately
The scam relies heavily on psychological manipulation.
Once someone sends an initial amount, the bot introduces a “remaining balance” to pressure completion.
“Only 0.2 SOL left.”
“Volume starts after final payment.”
“Ticket pending activation.”
This creates emotional commitment and reduces hesitation.
The telegram username:
The wallet being used: @Kinglion100
EKcdSapTY6mpnU4fNxzykzuKgqhMGcJHZiETrZQUks5R
was repeatedly pushed as the destination for direct SOL transfers.
No escrow.
No smart contract.
No transparent infrastructure.
Just manual transfers into a centralized wallet.
Another major finding:
The bot appears designed to imitate legitimate services within the Major ecosystem.
⚠️ Legitimate bot:
@MajorVolumeBot
⚠️ Fake impersonator:
@MaJ0rBump_Bot
This type of impersonation is becoming increasingly common across Solana communities because scammers know traders move quickly and often verify too late.
The operation itself follows a classic fraud structure:
• Build trust using technical language
• Simulate legitimacy with automation
• Create urgency
• Extract funds
• Redirect victims to admins
• Encourage recruitment of others
A real market-making or volume service does not function this way.
No legitimate provider asks users to:
• Send random SOL manually
• Complete “remaining balances”
• DM admins for activation
• Recruit additional buyers after payment
This was engineered to look believable enough for victims to bypass caution.
If you interacted with this bot:
• Revoke wallet approvals immediately
• Monitor wallet activity
• Move assets if necessary
• Report the Telegram account
• Warn your communities
Stay alert.
Verify everything.
DYOR.
Hearing that another chain is about to quietly wind down its African operations, with local leads reportedly being placed on temporary contracts as things phase out.
This used to be the cycle before SuperteamNG emerged. We’ve watched chains come in with a lot of noise and funding, then slowly disappear when priorities change or markets tighten. We’ve seen it happen repeatedly over the years, most recently with Coinbase and Base closing shop.
People don't give enough credit to what SuperteamNG has managed to build and sustain in this region.
We came here earlier than most. Three years later, still here longer than most. Still growing. Still onboarding builders. Still helping products find users. Still creating opportunities locally while connecting talent globally.
