Pep 💬 (On the naming of the North Stand after him) Speechless. No words. What can I say? Khaldoon called me and said the club had made that decision. I say, no words. I like to feel that my vibe or energy will be there forever. In the bad moments, when someone looks there and they see Pep there, I will send my energy to the team and club. It’s one of the biggest honours I could get. I just want to say thank you so much to the club. First good post I've read since yesterday. We've been incredibly competitive this season, a young team. Only upwards from here.

Last season was not good and we still finished third. This season was better, still not our best, and it looks likely we’ll finish second.

We’ll also have beaten the imminent title winners in a cup final and gone unbeaten against them head to head.

Honestly can’t help but feel like we just about let this one slip out of our fingers. Fighting like hell to go top of the table, have it in our hands after months of chasing, then dropping points in the way we did against the teams we probably shouldn’t have.

Uncharacteristic sloppiness and mental lapses by a City team.. but also the most accurate depiction of who we are in the current iteration and ongoing rebuild. A team with talent but perhaps one that isn’t quite there yet with the intangibles we’ve become used to.

To lose builds character, hunger to go again. The desire to earn back what we know could’ve been ours if we had just locked in a little bit better.

To have been this close stings but also provides perspective on how close we are to being where we know we should be. And to see younger players like Jeremy, NoR, and Khusanov truly emerge has been encouraging.

Still a couple of fixtures to go and who knows who summer will bring.

Regardless, we’ll be there, we’ll go again and no matter what happens, we’ll always fight till the end.
