The Indian Express story on the EC was timed to influence Supreme Court.

Yesterday, a judgment was pending in the SC. Whether the 2023 law governing the appointment process for the Chief Election Commissioners and Election Commissioners would be sent to a constitutional bench.

Timed perfectly, only hours before the judgement, the story dropped.

SC then sent the law to be deliberated by the constitution bench.

Did the story impact the judgement? One can’t be sure. Is the timing suspect? Absolutely.

Most mainstream media reporting today, on the big stories, is to influence the judicial process. Look closely, research, and you’ll see.

Eid of Horrors for Princesses and Noblewomen Who Missed Jauhar.

Ibn Battuta describes the Eid celebrations of Sultan Muhammad bin Tughluq, who ruled the Delhi Sultanate from 1325 to 1351. He says: “Then enter the musicians, the first batch being the daughters of the infidel rajas — Hindus — captured in war that year. They sing and dance, and the sultan gives them away to the amirs and a'izza. (The amirs are commanders or high-ranking nobles, and the a’izza are other powerful men in the sultanate).

Then come the other daughters of the infidels who sing and dance; and the Sultan gives them away to his brothers, his relations, his brothers-in-law and the maliks' sons.

This court is usually held in the afternoon; and on the following day also it is held at the same time and in the same order when female singers are brought in. They sing and dance, and the sultan gives them away to the chief slaves.

And on the third day the sultan gets his relatives married, and gifts are made to them. And on the fourth day the male slaves are manumitted; on the fifth day the female slaves are manumitted, and on the sixth day he makes the male slaves marry the female slaves. On the seventh day he gives away alms on a very large scale.”

Ibn Battuta was a 14th-century Moroccan Muslim explorer who travelled from Africa to India and the Middle East to China. He wrote a travelogue, The Rihla of Ibn Battuta. The Arabic word rihala or rehala means ‘journey’ or ‘voyage’, or ‘travelogue’. Rihalas often recorded a traveller’s experiences, local customs, politics, and historical events across the Islamic world and beyond. In his book, he describes the pitiable condition of Hindu princesses, noble women, and other girls.

Manumitted means released from slavery or servitude by an owner. This usually occurs when slaves convert to Islam, not otherwise. This was a part of jihad on Hindus. In these cases, the slaves were likely held in captivity for a while. Since males older than 12 were killed, it is quite certain that they were converted and circumcised. They could also be the children of slave men and women whose children were also born as slaves, as per Islamic law at the time. Perpetual slavery till eternity was allowed by their law.

The Islamic jihad on Hindus has been so brutal that many researchers call it ‘the largest genocide in human history.’ Koenraad Elst explains how the genocides were executed.

He says: “Apart from actual killing, millions of Hindus disappeared by way of enslavement. Slaves were likely to die of hardship; e.g. the mountain range Hindu Koh, ‘Indian mountain’, was renamed Hindu Kush, ‘Hindu-killer’, when one cold night in the reign of Timur Lenk (1398-99), a hundred thousand Hindu slaves died there while on transport to Central Asia.

Though Timur conquered Delhi from another Muslim ruler, he recorded in his journal that he made sure his pillaging soldiers spared the Muslim quarter, while in the Hindu areas, they took ‘twenty slaves each’. Hindu slaves were converted to Islam, and when their descendants gained their freedom, they swelled the numbers of the Muslim community. It is a cruel twist of history that the Muslims who forced Partition on India (1947) were partly the progeny of Hindus enslaved by Islam."

A jihad ten times larger but like this was funded and armed by the ummah in the kashmir valley of the 90s, which got tamed, neutered and dismembered by the mighty Hindu army of India.

Chechens, Arabs, Bosnians, Iraqi, Afghan and Punjabi mujahideen began barging into the valley armed to teeth as Kashmiri militants worked as their scouts & local network. It was based on this militia’s presence that JKLF declared total jihad against India and Kashmiri Hindus. ISI worked closely in coordination as overseas handlers of jihad.

It was in these conditions when the law & order collapsed and GoI imposed the AFSPA.

Indian military began heavy offensive against Islamist forces where every district became a battleground to reclaim Kashmir. The fight was bloody to the point that regiments and officers began developing rivalries in the kill count. Psychological warfare from both sides intensified with decapitation, burning of camps and fidayeen attacks rising like never before.

Army ensured total humiliation of jihadis at the hands of mushrik Hindus before obliterating them, a tactic to demoralise local population into submission.

It took a decade for Hindu arms to decimate the vritrasur of Islamic jihad in the valley, which rattled Pakistan so much that Musharraf couped against the government and launched invasion of kashmir as a first thing after takeover in 1999.

Binary numbers invented in India!
1010110. They are the foundational for Computer Science.

In 200 BCE, a Hindu scholar is trying to solve a poetry problem.

How many ways can you make a line of 3 syllables, if each syllable can be short or long?

That question becomes binary code.

Acharya Pingala, younger brother of Panini as per by tradition, is writing the Chandahshastra, the science of meters.

Every Sanskrit shloka must fit a meter. He wants to classify all possible meters.

He invents a system:

* Laghu = short syllable = 0
* Guru = long syllable = 1

He then asks:

For a 1-syllable meter, what are the combinations?

L, G - 2

For 2 syllables?
LL, LG, GL, GG - 4

For 3?
LLL, LLG, LGL, LGG, GLL, GLG, GGL, GGG - 8

This is binary counting, 2,200 years before Leibniz.

He writes Sutra 8.32: "prastāre laghu-guru" - layout with laghu and guru. In his method, he explicitly describes how to generate all patterns by adding L and G systematically

EXACTLY how a modern computer counts in binary: 000, 001, 010, 011...

Then he does more.

In Sutras 8.34-35, he describes Meru Prastara - what you see as the triangle of pebbles and sticks in the picture.

That is Pascal's Triangle, 1,800 years BEFORE Pascal.

He uses it to answer: how many 6-syllable meters have exactly 2 longs?

The answer is in the Meru.

And then, Sutra 8.28: he describes how to calculate 2^n - the number of ALL combinations.

His method: double repeatedly, using a process called sankhya.

This is the earliest known explicit algorithm for binary exponentiation.

And Sutra 8.31: how to find the binary representation of a number - his method of division by 2.

Leibniz, in 1703, will publish binary and claim he invented it. But Leibniz is 1,900 years late.

Pingala wasn't building a computer. He was describing how to write a poem in Gayatri meter.

Poetry needed math. Math became binary.

What you see in the painting (the pebbles as laghu (short), sticks as guru (long), arranged in a triangle) is LITERALLY the FIRST COMPUTER CODE, laid out on an earth floor in 200 BCE.

Every 0 and 1 in your phone exists because a man in ancient India wanted to count the ways to say a verse.

A major idea India must adopt from China, so easy to implement: To get an engineering degree at bachelors, masters or PhD level, a student need not write any thesis or pass exams. Instead, a new parallel track has started. You can BUILD something original, demonstrate that it works and explain the Engg principles orally. Depending on the % of local components, the robustness of the engineering, and the value to society, the level of degree will be decided. This encourages practical Engg rather than theory. Of course some Engg also needed who are theoreticians, but in India 100% of Engg students spending most of their time in classrooms. In China more time spent with teachers helping build physical things. Take this idea to whatever extent it is useful. Don’t post stupid irrelevant points or personal attacks. Be relevant to the point being made. Thanks.

It’s actually a pretty flawed comparison when you look at how the two sides actually operate. Hindu groups like Iskcon in the West mostly focus on sharing philosophy, yoga, and meditation. They stick to their temples, and any Westerners who get involved do so completely out of their own interest because no one is chasing them down or pressuring them to convert. On the flip side, a lot of foreign Christian missionary groups going into India actively target poor or tribal areas with highly aggressive tactics. They often tie material aid, like free healthcare or schooling, to religious conversion, which basically leverages people's poverty. Hindu groups in the West just don't do that. They aren't handing out financial perks or incentives to get people to switch faiths. One is voluntary philosophical sharing, and the other is predatory.
