Something very important is going on in the pension fund industry.
Why was the Bank of England forced to intervene as the lender of last resort?

Most shareholders don’t know they’re shareholders through their pension fund/mutual funds - this has big implications for corporate governance. Can’t wait to see what these enterpreneurs can do abt that..
A big trend we're seeing is "@cartainc for X" companies popping up in regions across the world.
These companies use their relationships with local lawyers and transfer agents to help startups manage their cap tables given geographically-specific regulations and rules.
New study reverses earlier beliefs (see La Porta et. al 2002) that government ownership of banks bodes ill for economic growth. According to my prior this is due to improved governance practices and state enterprise ownership at arms-length that is now widely practiced.

Wanna hear more on (moron?) the ongoing melodrama of Elon Musk groping for the ripcord on his TWTR deal, why spam/bot accounts are really a side show, and why financing disputes may prove to be the real eye of the storm? Ok, then! https://t.co/8tsy5NQPrY #USNews via @Audioburst
This is going to be an interesting case - pension funds have not been particularily active in class action law suits up until now: Florida pension fund sues Elon Musk and Twitter to stop buyout https://t.co/09ZVUoKkXw
