College soccer is also irrelevant for going professional because you have it or not when your are 12-15

Fundamental differences of not having promotion/relegation is why US soccer is not serious and should not be compared abroad

US Soccer is not going anywhere due to no promotion/relegation which is a main reason why European clubs have academies from 7 years old on up.

Also, no one points out that the ones that don’t make in Europe come to American and take the College Soccer Scholarship spots.
