An ICE agent scanned the wrong license plate, chased the wrong man, and ended up shooting Julio Sosa-Celis through his own front door. DHS’s first story: Sosa-Celis attacked agents with a broom and snow shovel. City surveillance video proved that was false — the whole struggle lasted about 12 seconds. DHS admitted its agents gave “untruthful” sworn testimony. Charges against Sosa-Celis were dropped with prejudice.

The agent, Christian Castro, is now charged with 4 counts of assault + falsely reporting a crime. He fled to Texas.

Greg Abbott is refusing to extradite him. Minnesota’s AG just sued Abbott to force it.

A Republican governor is actively shielding a federal agent from facing trial for shooting an innocent man and lying about it under oath.

Texas, you have a job to do in November. And then justice can finally be delivered.

In 1956 Earl Nightingale recorded a 30-minute talk for the sales team at Mutual of Omaha. No advertising budget. No distribution deal. No publisher.

It sold over 1 million copies in the first year and generated an estimated $4.2 million in revenue before a single dollar was spent on marketing. Mutual of Omaha's sales division reported a 35% jump in performance within 6 months of rolling it out across their offices. The recording became the first spoken word record in history to go gold.

It created an entirely new industry. Every audiobook, every podcast, every motivational recording that exists today traces back to that one tape.

Nightingale had grown up in a tent city in Long Beach, California during the Depression. At 17 he decided to find out why some people succeed and most don't. He spent 17 years reading every book and studying every successful person he could access.

Then he recorded what he found in 30 minutes.

He called it the strangest secret. And the secret was this.

We become what we think about.

That's it. The conclusion of 17 years of research into human success and failure. Six words.

He said a survey once asked thousands of working men why they got up in the morning and went to work. 19 out of 20 didn't know.

They said everybody works.

He said if you did the exact opposite of what the great majority does under any given set of circumstances you would probably never make another mistake as long as you live.

He told the story of two men in a small town. One man adjusted his pocket watch every morning to match the clock in the jeweler's window. One morning the jeweler was outside sweeping and asked him why.

The man said he blew the quitting whistle at the plant every night at 5 o'clock and wanted to make sure his time was correct.

The jeweler went quiet. Then said that's funny. He had been setting that clock by the whistle for years.

Two men. Each following the other. Neither checking the source. Both completely certain they were right.

He said 95% of people are doing exactly this. Following the people around them without question. Spending 40 hours a week working and the remaining 72 free hours doing what everyone else does with their 72 hours. Which is virtually nothing.

He said in 40 years the average man retires and it always catches him by surprise.

He said success is nothing more than the progressive realization of a worthy ideal. Any person who knows what they are doing and where they are going is a success. Any person who doesn't is not. By definition.

The trouble with most people is not in achieving their goals. They actually do achieve them. The trouble is in establishing them in the first place.

Almost nobody has listened to it as a complete explanation of why 95% of people arrive at the end of their lives wishing they could do it over again.

U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has declared that an “economic D-Day” against Iran is beginning, describing it in a new Financial Times op-ed Sunday night as “the single greatest financial offensive ever marshalled against an adversary.”

🔹 Bessent said Washington intends to sever every remaining Iranian economic lifeline, targeting countries and companies that buy or transport its oil, process payments, register ships, host Iranian flights or facilitate ship-to-ship fuel transfers.

🔹 He threatened Iran’s trading partners with exclusion from global capital and “lasting prosperity,” warning that any country serving as Tehran’s “financial artery” should expect to share its isolation and become a “global pariah.”

🔹 Bessent said complete financial isolation could eliminate the need for further U.S. military force, while threatening a “swift and decisive” response if Iran retaliates with attacks against U.S. forces or Gulf states as its economy and government come under mounting pressure.

Mark Cuban says the U.S. may need an entirely new healthcare system, but supporters of Medicare for All are promoting “bullshit” instead of presenting a workable plan.

He spoke to Kara Swisher about the new Yale-led report which projects $1.04 trillion in annual savings by switching to M4A, taking exception with its estimated $285.7 billion reduction in fraudulent billing.

That figure applies an 8% savings associated with Taiwan’s 1995 transition to single-payer healthcare to U.S. spending. Cuban argues that extrapolating from Taiwan’s much smaller, then largely paper-based system makes the estimate entirely unreliable.

He also argues that leading hospitals and doctors would opt out if paid at Medicare rates, and that a politically appointed Health and Human Services secretary would wield broad authority over implementation of the plan.

Yosef, one of the two highest official religious authorities in Israel, said this during an event last Thursday at the Gush Katif Museum in Jerusalem, dedicated to commemorating the so-called "expulsion" of Israeli settlers from the Gaza Strip settlements in 2005.

David Yosef is the brother of former chief rabbi Yitzhak Yosef and the son of former chief rabbi Ovadia Yosef, who was one of the most influential religious figures in Israel since its establishment. All three have shared and expressed the same views regarding Palestine and Palestinians, views firmly based in the Jewish religion.

🇸🇾🇮🇱🇹🇷 Israel got the all-clear and still dropped bombs.

U.S. Ambassador to Turkey Tom Barrack said Syria told Mossad there were no Turkish troops, no convoy, and no weapons at the airbase.

The Americans checked their own intel and got the same answer.

Israel had 5 days of warnings and talks, then struck anyway without telling Turkey.

Barrack calls it an unnecessary escalation that nearly pulled two U.S. allies into a fight.

Washington’s now scrambling to build a real deconfliction line before the next mix-up turns kinetic.
