@anthony_bo55231@_CLEology I realize it would only be for a sixth or seventh round pick.
I’ve heard Cleveland feels they did Gabriel dirty so might cut him to find his own desired landing spot.
@fishsports I didn’t check 2027 but saw Dak has a cap space hit of 44+ million and Stroud 11+ million this year. With Stroud’s low number could it help offset the cap space hit? The reason why I ask is Stroud is on his fourth year with a fifth year option so is covered the next two years.
@fishsports Thanks for letting me know about the cap space money. I didn’t think it was that high.
They could restructure contract first, correct? This would have to be a trade Dak wants since might be a couple three years before our defense is top 10 with a normal amount of draft picks.
@fishsports I have one thinking Dak going to a Super Bowl contender with other team having capable quarterback. Trade Dak to Houston having Super Bowl defense ready for two first, second, third, and Stroud.
I’m not saying Stroud is the long-term answer but could well work with our weapons.
@LawsNation I saw negative comments posted. I like Carson and think he can be solid starting cornerback. He’s got game and can excel with good coaching. I wouldn’t be surprised seeing Durant and Carson as starting cornerbacks during this season.
