New enemy the "Singer" - they will sing and wake up the statues and make them sing together~
The way to kill these guys is to cut their singing heads off.
Edward becomes more unstable in chapter 2, to reflect the main character's mental state. There will be more real time mood shift or even day and night time transformation。
Yes there are tradeoffs, for example, monsters are more terrifying and strong, but they reward you with stuff once you kill them; some secret areas will reveal themselves when your sanity is low. However, the game makes you feel like you should play with healthy sanity otherwise you'll get pushed.
In a lot of areas the sanity system is guided or controlled, for easy understanding for the players and to work with story sections better - but there are whole lot going on behind what you see on screen actually.
