Iran noted that it was retaliating for multiple targeted assassinations carried out by Israel (with locations that include Tehran), and other massacres of civilians from Gaza to Lebanon.

Israel claims it's "retaliating" against Iran and its "proxies" for their attacks, but Hezbollah and Ansar Allah have noted that they will stop their attacks on Israel, as soon as Israel stops its genocidal war on the Palestinians in Gaza.
