It's official. For the foreseeable future I am entirely done with creating content for the #Roblox catalog.

Additionally, "GuestCapone" will be a brand name I'll be dropping. Been wanting to do that for awhile but couldn't due UGC being my lifeline and main source of income and changing my name was too big of a risk for losing my name since I sold items under the name GuestCapone and not just Foxtrot Arms.

Why? For the past 4 months I've been trying to get a programming job but have been denied due to only being known as a UGC creator and not a coder, while my alt which has no credibility or even a Twitter account till last month, was able to get 4 jobs from the same people I approached because on my alt I posted a few gifs/videos of things coded. Done that here as well but GuestCapone is infamously known as a UGC creator not a dev.

And I am so fucking done with the catalog that I don't even want to put it on my resume or have a rank in discord(s) for UGC becsuse it only gives me attention for people looking to know how to make ugc or to upload some shitty model. I'm way more of coder now than a modeler so creating an entirely new identity for that.

Mentioning this because I will be increasingly less active here and on Discord under the accounts associated with GuestCapone. It's been a fun run but I'm wanting to do something else and more then happy walking away from all connections or "prestige" being GuestCapone has gotten me over the years.

Appreciate all of the support you guys have given me and Foxtrot Arms since we first started back in 2020 but it's time to officially do something else.

Following the end of 2023 Foxtrot Arms will be slowing down and eventually closing around the end of the first quarter of 2024.

Truthfully, me, @johndrinkin & @AlkalineCanid are done with this gig, money is alright but it's a really draining job due to the double standard of corporate, the constant targeting of our groups military items, toxicity of the Roblox community at large, and plainly we have all been doing this for 3 years now and it's just not fun, and with the expected changes corporate will be making, will not make the stress of trying to run a Roblox storefront worth it.

And truthfully, we all want to just unplug and go have a real life, Roblox takes up too much time in all of our lives for what little we actually get when the trade off is taking literal years off our lives.

Q: When will we close?
A: probably around March, a lot depends when and how Roblox fully rolls out their new "stock" system.

Q: Will you restock items?
A: No comment at this time.

Q: What about the remaining furry items?
A: Might end up canceling them entirely, not feeling it anymore.

Q: What do you personally plan in doing post UGC?
A: getting a part time day job just to get out of the house and do something, I like coffee so preferably working somewhere at a Cafe. Aside from that, take odd dev jobs here and there.

Q: What do you do dev work wise?
A: modeling mostly, but I do code as well, primarily just setting up frameworks and data structures for games. I don't do any front end (UI, particles, animations, things that look pretty or cool), I do the boring back end stuff.

Q: Do you have a portfolio?
A: Yes, severely outdated by 3 years. New one will be posted in late December

Q: Are you looking for work now?
A: Unofficially yes, but will not be able to start until the first of the year outside of small jobs. Currently in the middle of being about to move and want to spend 2 weeks trying to get fimilar with driving. I'm 3 years behind on getting a license, or even knowing how to drive lmao.

Q: would you leave Roblox?
A: Not at the moment no, truthfully I don't have an interest in switching platforms, nor do I think it is wise for me to do so at the moment. I'm more interested in learning how to make mobile graphics look good and roblox fits that niche.

Q: What will happen to the Foxtrot Arms server after you close?
A: To be discussed internally.

Q: Do you think you will return to UGC?
A: Probably not, or if I did it would be purely for myself and not a community at large. Done that before, quit being fun when i decided to make things for a community that can be extremely ungrateful and hateful plus a shit ton of other problems. Not everyone was that way but it is too common, and this is a sentiment me, John and Alkaline all share.

With the current state of UGC, I might be retiring as a UGC creator after this year entirely.

A lot will depend on the first quarter of 2023 with how Roblox treats us, but very low hopes it'll be anything good. Lack of moderation, double standard of rule enforcement, seemingly unfair moderation targeting of Foxtrot Arms (almost all guns have been removed, even the ones we went out of the way to make compliant with their fucking "rules") limited UGC stock and so on.

Truthfully, funs been gone since 2022 and I've just stuck around for a paycheck, but even now it's not worth the mental and emotional strain. Half of Robloxs systems for UGC doesn't work, or rejects works without reason, retroactive moderation WITHOUT notification to the uploader OR group owner. And one day we're told we can't do X and someone does the same exact thing and their stuff remains up while outs is taken down. And this has been a constant issue since day 1 of the program.

Let alone the 600+ limited copies that roblox cannot, or perhaps just will not, moderate. It's straight up embarrassing to see. Not to mention I'm still extremely salty at the LACK of quality control or assurance with who has been let into the program over the years. I will remind everyone of the failed and horrible experience of the STARs program and the hell they brought for 2 years with UGC access.

Nah, I'm pretty much done with UGC. I have in total 11 more furry sets to make/release and then I will be done and probably retire. Set out to complete a list of items in 2020, and it's almost done now in 2023. After that, I don't really feel like continuing and will most likely go dark for a while working on contractual work, it's a hell less draining then dealing with the BS ugc is.

I love controversy. Been center of it for 5 years over a texture name. At least I didn't make literal porn. But with whats going on #Roblox right now is good. Roblox doesn't moderate for off platform content, it's not their job. But you know I crashed out over this earlier in the year but might as well just talk about this now.

Akari, hope you actually had quit making porn, if you did good job, but still going to be salty you made porn of my models, models that Alkaline made for my company. Ironically you also want to commission him to turn your porn OC into a dynamic head.

Technically, you're not doing anything illegal here, you provide a service to model people's OCs and upload them to the platform and not ask questions of what their OC does but yeah. Gonna be salty over you making porn of my work.

Well that's that, time to move on and quit being salty. Someone else can be salty now. But this is also why I quit UGC. I don't like seeing my work used for porn or sexual content, that was never the intention and it completely demotivated me and John from even wanting to work on avatar items, even as a commission. At least we have other sources of income, Alkaline isn't as lucky and forced to go back to commissions.

I can respect that you actually admitted to making roblox porn and not doubling down, blocking saying what I said is untrue. I do not respect what you did, I am salty over it, deeply offended and hurt, it actually did push me over the edge and quit. But me, calling you out is enough to move on.

Idk about the loli part, didn't hear that from his own posts, it was pretty much a remove any and all furry from servers bot. If there was specifics, it wasn't included in his rage bait posts which again, only points to the fact that Ruben does not actually act in professional manner towards a serious problem unlike schlep.

You don't use rage bait with serious topics, doing so will only downplay the severity of a problem and make people polarized, rather then unite against the problem. Ruben is a great person for making people hate one another over really really stupid issues when the actual main issue goes ignored or forgotten. But that's a great thing to have for algro, people talking, bickering and fighting in the comments. Any sort of interact with a post emass will promote the post to more peoples feeds. Kind of like with my post, the more people interact with or reply to, like or retweet, the more it will appear in someone's feed.

And talking about specifications of a bot rather then the OP body (hey go support the petition to have governmental oversight and or investigation begin) does take away from the actual issue at hand which is Roblox is not safe. If you want to talk about discord you can but it's not specifically related to the main issue.

Used to think schlep and Ruben was the same person, got those vibes because most people on roblox "who go after predators" arent actually doing it for good reasons and just seek clout. Past week I realized I was wrong and schlep isn't a gifter, to be honest I also didnt know anything about him nor wanted to because he had the sim vibe, turns out hes not that way and is a victim himself. Signed the petition alone because of that and the response from roblox.

I hope the US government gets involved AND preforms an investigation into the platform. This platform has reached a point where government oversight is now required to actually ensure and enforce security for users, especially children.
