$NVDA - TRADERS MAKE BULLISH BETS AHEAD OF NVIDIA EARNINGS

With Nvidia reporting after the close, options traders are positioning for another volatile move. Bloomberg data shows roughly 13,000 December $205/$235 call spreads bought—bets on a post-earnings rise, but with capped upside.

Implied volatility has eased, and options now price in about a 6.9% move after results. Nearly half of all trading is in contracts expiring Nov. 21, with the $180 strike the most crowded.

Today’s most active contract is the Nov. 21 $200 call (about 88,000 trades), signaling traders are leaning toward an upside reaction.
