The City of Johannesburg launched the Rea Vaya bus services in 2009, introducing a fast, safe, and affordable rapid transport system under the leadership of Cde Amos Masondo, then Mayor. Cde Masondo guided us through the project’s inception, reflecting the City’s commitment, aligned with the ANC manifesto, to improve public transport and provide easier access to CBDs, workplaces, schools, health, and recreational facilities.
Today, Under the leadership of Executive Mayor Cde Dada Morero we are proud to see Rea Vaya expanding its routes from the Inner City to Yeoville, Orange Grove, Cheltondale, Balfour Park, Bramley, Wynberg, Alexandra, and Sandton City in 2025. Since its inception, Rea Vaya has become a key transport infrastructure and smart city project, forming the backbone of Johannesburg’s economy. The City continues to focus on reliable public transport, reducing congestion, and enabling safe, efficient travel for all residents.

This man is not what we have been told he is. He is truly up to something. Of all SA heads of state, he has come out as the most committed to policies that matter for the most genuine transformation of the living conditions of our people.
- NHI
- BELA
- Expropriation Act
- Palestine
The left needs to accept this, and rethink its position towards him! Not withstanding Marikana, Phala Phala, CR is on a journey less travelled by many in his position. Worse, under GNU conditions! No puppet of white monopoly capitalism speak and acts like he does! Sela!

Kaya turns 27 today 🎂🥳
27 is such a weird age. It’s like the middle child. How was turning 27 for you? Was that your biggest or most challenging year?
PAC, AZAPO, EFF, UDM, MK, PA, ATM, ACT, ALJMAL…in political terms it is what is called opponents in the political terrain they are not our enemies. Our enemy it is the organisation who collaborated with the apartheid who are still in denial until today of their actions.
