Tourette Scotland have issued a formal response to the Saturday Night Live sketch and have written directly to SNL and NBC executives.
They call the sketch “abhorrent” and say it reinforces the dangerous myth that Tourette’s is fake, following the attacks directed at John Davidson after the BAFTAs.
They also highlight that the sketch used a doctored version of the Tourette Scotland logo, dragging a charity that has supported families for 30 years into a vile attempt at humour.

I just want to share something Tourette Scotland posted on their Facebook today and say a heartfelt thank you.
In the past week alone they have received over £5,000 in donations. More than 200 people from over 100 different locations across the UK have contributed, alongside so many powerful messages of support for John. There have also been international donations from Germany, Croatia, Australia, the USA, Jersey and The Netherlands.
The map they shared showing support coming in from right across the UK is incredibly moving. It means more than I can put into words, not just to our family personally, but to families all across Scotland living with Tourette’s.
Thank you to every single person who has donated, shared, spoken up or reached out. It truly matters.
If anyone would like to support the work Tourette Scotland does for families like ours, you can donate here:

Dear X
I need your help.
As you may know, I was doxed by Fred Wallace who posted my name, picture and partial home address here on X.
I made a complaint to the @metpoliceuk and today I was called back by one of their officers.
Name: Pc/Officer Humphreys.
Badge No. 2417.
Based at Lewisham Police Station. @MPSLewisham
Officer Humphreys asked what had given rise to the doxing and I told him that I hold the position that men cannot become women.
He immediately, without taking a breath said "well, that's transphobic".
Officer Humphries then proceeded to harangue me about my 'transphobia' and 'homophobia'.
I told him that I was not confident in the way he responded and that I would be reporting him to his superiors.
He said "well you won't get anywhere".
I then tried to explain to him that being 'transphobic' is not a crime and that gender critical beliefs are protected under the Forstater Ruling.
I also told him about the Supreme Court ruling that sex, in law, means biology and not identity.
At this point in the conversation, PC Humphreys put the phone down on me.
PC Humphreys seemed to have no understanding of his responsibility to act as an impartial public servant.
He also seemed unconcerned that I felt threatened and that I and my family could be put at risk by the doxing.
His only interest was in berating me for my beliefs.
I have made an in-person complaint at Lewisham Police Station and I will be making an appointment to discuss this incident with my MP @JanetDaby
We are being failed by a captured police force.

Please can you Rx this.
Thank you.
Dr P.
It appears that John Davidson has united Rangers and Celtic fans due to the BAFTAs , he’s brought peace to Scotland. Can we nominate him for the Nobel peace prize, even Jesus couldn’t have united those two supporters.
Men who identify as women are still men, Susan. And a number of them have raped female inmates after they were put in women's prison.
Yes, men ARE the problem. Why should female inmates - 86% of whom are survivors of sexual violence - be locked in cells and have to shower with men, just because those men claim they feel like women?
In California, Democrats used inmate Tremaine Carroll (below), who identifies as a woman, as the face of their campaign to enact a law allowing such 'trans women' to be housed in women's prison. The law passed and Carroll was moved to the women's prison.
He immediately raped his new cellmate and several other women inmates. The women all reported the rapes, but prison officials called them liars and punished them for their 'transphobia'. Only when Carroll finally impregnated his cellmate through rape were they forced to acknowledge the truth. Carroll is now on trial for raping three female inmates, who have been told by the judge that they must call him "she/her" when they testify about being raped by him.
The WOMEN are the vulnerable ones. Not the men, no matter what they call themselves.
David Toshack — a trainee Prison Custody Officer in Scotland— was sacked for refusing to call male prisoners “she/her”.
David was praised throughout five weeks of training and participated thoughtfully in discussions, including those on managing trans prisoners.
He explained that, due to his Christian beliefs and his understanding of “science, biology and reality”, he could not, in good conscience, use pronouns that conflicted with biological sex.
The former army medic, who served in Iraq, Kenya and Afghanistan, said he would be more than happy to use neutral language where possible and refer to prisoners by their chosen name — a respectful compromise.
His position — rightly — went unchallenged until the final week, when the safeguarding lead asked him to leave the session after he reiterated that he could only use sex-based pronouns.
David was taken to HR and immediately dismissed for being “not suitable” due to his “strong beliefs”. Usual disciplinary channels were ignored, and no attempt was made to accommodate those beliefs.
The company — GeoAmey — claimed David’s refusal to use preferred pronouns was incompatible with “the law”, despite the belief he expressed being protected under the Equality Act 2010. Last April, the Supreme Court ruled unanimously that, under the Equality Act, a woman is defined by biological sex, not gender identity.
The Free Speech Union is supporting David’s challenge to his dismissal. The failings in this case suggest the decision was predetermined, and that the real issue was David’s lawful gender-critical beliefs — not his competence or conduct.
David’s case could set an important legal precedent against compelled ideological conformity in the workplace.
Nobody should lose their livelihood for expressing lawful and protected beliefs.

@linmeitalks People need to stop stigmatising single mothers.
I'm a single mother + my mortgage is around £1800 a month.
And FYI, a single mother can't typically claim full Universal Credit once their child reaches nursery age.
Or any UC if they have savings. Or a second home.
I am hugely grateful to Naomi Cunningham for the work that she has done as the first chair of Sex Matters, and for her equally important role as a barrister representing claimants using the law to fight for justice.
I wish her all the best in her future endeavours.
@SexMattersOrg An awesome advocate for women & girls, Naomi has many more battles ahead where her advocacy will reach many more.
Huge respect, & best wishes in her future endeavours
Today Naomi Cunningham has stepped down as Sex Matters chair. Her legal brilliance and clarity helped us develop from an infant non-profit into an established charity. Our best wishes and gratitude as she continues her vital work as a barrister defending sex-based rights.
