Been logging everything in Levryn and found a fun stat: I’m currently 0-2 against the World Champion 😅

Lost once in a local Set Champs final and once in Utrecht.

With Winterspell coming, I took some time to reflect on my Set 10 season.
- Won a Set Champs, but lost the win and win of the CCQ that was the most important event
- Didn’t play much, but happy to have at least done some online playtest
- Tried some different decks for once

@DrLoreTCG I realized I never really measured growth when I played Magic… I just played and hoped results would come.

With Lorcana I’ve been experimenting clearer goals, and actually tracking progress over time changed how intentional my play became.

Kai was an inspiration throughout my MtG years. At Worlds 2006, @InsideMTG and I asked to take a picture with him. After complimenting him, he replied, “you will probably do better than me.” Of course, I didn’t. Last PT in Amsterdam, we took another picture. He was just amazing.

The more I talk to other players, the clearer it gets: most of us care less about a single result and more about whether we’re actually improving.
