The Kasese Equator, located at Kikorongo in Kasese District near Queen Elizabeth National Park, is one of Uganda's most significant tourist landmarks.

The site marks the point where the Equator crosses western Uganda, dividing the Earth into the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. It attracts thousands of local and international visitors who stop to experience and photograph this unique geographical feature.

The Kasese Equator also serves as the starting point for the 42-kilometre race of the Tusker Lite Rwenzori Marathon, one of Uganda's premier sporting events that brings together athletes and tourism enthusiasts from across the world.
