*minds her company... A bright smile is further answer to Sha'ah's question as she offers her arm to him. "If that is what you wish for me to do. I am able to spend some time away."

[Jeanne D'Arc @GuidingMaiden]

"It truly doesn't, things have not been calm above either so here I wander." Sha'ah wishes for her to stay longer? Perhaps she will. Originally her plan was to stop by on a little visit as she was under the impression that Sha'ah was not fond of her presence but he no longer *

[𝙎𝙝𝙖'𝙖𝙝 (Satan)— @infernallyours]

"Busy," he affirms with self-surprise. "Isn't it odd how we have infinite time available to us, and yet we still haste? The world slows for no one, I suppose....Tell me you'll be staying for more than a cup of coffee, Jeanne...."

[Jeanne D'Arc @GuidingMaiden]

They probably do think that she's a ghost from all of the white that she wears. "I have yet to truly need an escort as I will find my way eventually. It is good to see you again, how have you been?" Hm, the air feels lively here. That's an improvement from the last time.

[𝙎𝙝𝙖'𝙖𝙝 (Satan)— @infernallyours]

She does not have to wander far: seems like the channels of communication have been streamlined, since soon enough, he's intercepting her there at an intersection...

"They must see you like family, Jeanne, for them to not offer escort." Either that or: they think she's a ghost.

[Jeanne D'Arc @GuidingMaiden]

Alright, the trip down wasn't so bad this time around although she did forget how cold it was in the castle. Oh well. Once she's done dusting off the skirt of her dress she sets off to wander the halls in search of @infernallyours .

[Jeanne D'Arc @GuidingMaiden]

*remain cautious just in case it isn't, permission to be there or not.

[Jeanne D'Arc @GuidingMaiden]

"I would say 'overall'? Honestly, I have only made direct lines to you when visiting and have never strayed so I really have not seen a lot of this place. ...Especially since the last time that I had visited you warned me of your purge." Is that done yet? She should probably *

[𝙎𝙝𝙖'𝙖𝙝 (Satan)— @infernallyours]

His fingertips touch before his abdomen; "What sort of tour would you like? A tour of any particular castle, or, perhaps of Hell overall? It may take a while. Maybe we should start somewhere a little closer to home. How far into Hell have you ventured on your own so far?"

[Jeanne D'Arc @GuidingMaiden]

"I would be glad to. It so happens that I am curious about how you have changed things. Would you be free to provide a tour?"

[𝙎𝙝𝙖'𝙖𝙝 (Satan)— @infernallyours]

A woman who weighed risk...yes... the risk of loss would naturally be greater than a gain she couldn't fathom. Pity, but he wouldn't push the matter.

"Why, indeed. Say, Jeanne. You should come by more often. I think it would help to balance out some of the bias around here."

[Jeanne D'Arc @GuidingMaiden]

A grimace? Whatever for...? "That is a fair point, but I am still content with how my life currently is. Why step out and look for something that may or may not be better? I'm glad that it had worked out for you though."

[𝙎𝙝𝙖'𝙖𝙝 (Satan)— @infernallyours]

His head tips.
A half shrug makes an appearence, as does the faintest of grimaces.

"Could you say you have found the best wine if you haven't tried them all? I thought I was happy before trying something different. Now, I'm glad I did."

[Jeanne D'Arc @GuidingMaiden]

She is oblivious to the effect that she has on Sha'ah as she instead focuses on his response instead. It brings a smile to her face to hear that he is happier now, never mind his new position and all of that nonsense. "True happiness? I have no complaints, does that not count?"

[𝙎𝙝𝙖'𝙖𝙝 (Satan)— @infernallyours]

She seems.... especially... bright today.

Could it be the dim lighting? He was a moth to her flame... And couldn't look away.

"Much. You know, I'm much happier. True happiness, Jeanne. I wonder, what would it take for you to discover that for yourself?"

[Jeanne D'Arc @GuidingMaiden]

"Oh? Then may you be able to find them soon, since their unknown whereabouts affect you in such a way. I take it that you are at least doing better now?"

[𝙎𝙝𝙖'𝙖𝙝 (Satan)— @infernallyours]

He could have winced. "That's not what it was about. I was looking for someone. Don't make me lie about who. As it'd turn out, they don't appear to be here after all."

[Jeanne D'Arc @GuidingMaiden]

"I had already forgiven you. I imagine that it not easy to do what you do and the timing on my end was perhaps not the greatest considering the... purge that you were having."

[𝙎𝙝𝙖'𝙖𝙝 (Satan)— @infernallyours]

His jaw locks for a moment.

"The last time we met I believe I was quite rude to you."

[Jeanne D'Arc @GuidingMaiden]

An apology? Whatever for?

[𝙎𝙝𝙖'𝙖𝙝 (Satan)— @infernallyours]

Not displeased, no, caught off guard by the resurgence of memories, perhaps, but no, not displeased.

Jeanne... I owe you an apology.

[Jeanne D'Arc @GuidingMaiden]

Are you... displeased?

[Jeanne D'Arc @GuidingMaiden]

"I would not mind letting Them know how you are doing, but must I want something to come by? Things have been strange for a while now and I finally have the time to check in."

[𝙎𝙝𝙖'𝙖𝙝 (Satan)— @infernallyours]

"What do you want from me, Jeanne?" He does sound a bit fatigued. "Are you here for a status report so you can relay it to Them? Feel free to share that I am in a 'Fuck you' sort of mood, and thank them gently on my behalf for asking..."

[Jeanne D'Arc @GuidingMaiden]

I had searched for two months before matters had drawn my attention away. What is done is done, are you satisfied?

[𝙎𝙝𝙖'𝙖𝙝 (Satan)— @infernallyours]

Valen is now dead. I killed him myself. Were you still looking for him? He shouldn't have crossed me, in the end after all.

[Jeanne D'Arc @GuidingMaiden]

Yet you have already spoken to me. Is it because I was not able to find Valen?

[Jeanne D'Arc @GuidingMaiden]

What a strange thing to be worried about, Sha'ah.
