@FionaCampbell74 It’s all such a waste of time and money, if they’d set the thing up properly in the first place. Damage is done now, people pushed out of the business, properties sold, accommodation costs now exorbitant, people holidaying abroad as more welcoming. So sad.

@ASSCnews As has been said before, these “guests” aren’t always tourists but Scots working away from home, establishing in a new area, visiting relatives, etc. This is now much more difficult/impossible thanks to the #STL legislation. Own goal!

So, as @Fiona Campbell74 predicted, people are hiring campervans and the roads and lay-bys this summer will be carnage with no regulation or management. It didn’t need to be this way!
