Carragher 🗣️ This idea of a ‘project’ That’s not Chelsea. That might work somewhere else in Arsenal or spurs. This whole “we’re building for the future” thing doesn’t work at Chelsea. Players like Enzo Palmer didn’t come here to “build”, they came to win
Man City getting Semenyo & Guéhi in a January window is just outrageous stuff. If they take this title from Arsenal it’s gonna be down to them being proactive on the market.
I almost watched referees nearly cost us a place in the UCL last season and off the top of my head they were directly involved in us dropping close to 10pts. I’m sorry I don’t feel like I should feel sorry for what happened yesterday and the coverage over it is genuinely crazy.
Nobody wants to see goals ruled out where possible but if you step on someone’s foot, the written rule is foul. Nowhere in the law book does it state if a player pulls off a skill move whilst proceeding to step on an opponents foot the game can continue?
“Where does his foot go” - Let’s say he broke his foot whilst doing it, would that still be the same response? Because if that was in the box a penalty would be given.
