Another wonderful last. Guilsborough Academy musicians performing on the @musicforyouth stage in the Northampton MFY festival for the very first time in the academy’s history. They did the academy and themselves very proud.

Incredibly proud, incredibly emotional final concert for Mrs Holmes at Guilsborough Academy. Nine wonderful years spent with some of the most inspirational, talented, hard-working and funny students. It has been an absolute blast you wonderful lot. I shall miss you enormously.

This year, demand for tickets was twice what it was last year so we had to change to a bigger venue! Congratulations to all our fantastic performers.

Year 9 have just completed a project on Video Game Music and have been composing music for a character whilst looking at good melody writing and construction and how to harmonise a melody effectively.
This example is one of many from the year group of top quality responses.
