@Eduventuring04 I think a major missing piece is to make reading more social for our kids/ they need to share the experience of loving or hating a book or a character with their peers not more writing or testing about the books. Then they just bond over hating English class 🤷🏻‍♀️

@Jarrett_Lerner I am reading it right now with our 6-8th graders. Cross curricular lessons with art teacher, wellness teacher, and advisory mini lessons. Yesterday was our most powerful day where we tackled our own negative self talk. Today we meet Markus!🩷

They love the feature where they can share book recs with classmates (do a lesson on that- because they get silly!!) but it’s a great site for practicing summary skill writing and publishing their work.

@Hayo_luke I check in am before first bell because we get updates on kids or the week from admin. Then I usually check at night for students who need help. Take your school email off your phone though- that was best advice I received! I check it way less now!
