@dsantat My students love this book- they reread it and enjoy it together so often! Love that it makes reading a social experience for them! Absolutely great book!
In October @AuschwitzMuseum account lost 7,279 followers.
We can commemorate the victims of Auschwitz and educate people on social media thanks to your overwhelming support.

@erinentrada It was so great! Did a summer reading book club with some students and they loved the twists in the end. And we played the old game Mall Madness to really understand how awesome malls were back in the day. 🤣 can’t wait to share this news with them tomorrow. Congratulations
@Eduventuring04 I think a major missing piece is to make reading more social for our kids/ they need to share the experience of loving or hating a book or a character with their peers not more writing or testing about the books. Then they just bond over hating English class 🤷🏻♀️
@Jarrett_Lerner I am reading it right now with our 6-8th graders. Cross curricular lessons with art teacher, wellness teacher, and advisory mini lessons. Yesterday was our most powerful day where we tackled our own negative self talk. Today we meet Markus!🩷

One of our students’ favorite contenders for the 2024 @ALALibrary#caldecottaward was Stickler Loves The World by #LaneSmith and published by @randomhouse One student loved him so much that she made her own Stickler! He’s been an instant celebrity at our school 🩷
@MarlaFrazee My students just completed a mock Caldecott unit, and they loved your book &were so happy you won the Caldecott Honor. Congratulations! One student was so moved by the book that he wanted to share a quick note with you! Thank you for inspiring students!
@burstofbeaden My students are big fans of all of your work, but they especially loved The Skull. So many of them chose it as their winner in our mock Caldecott presentations. Thank you for inspiring their creativity with your art and your writing!
@jalanan Just did a mock Caldecott vote with our middle school and had one student debate hard for you to win. He loves “bug books” and thought yours was amazing in terms of art and information! Many kids agreed! Congratulations!
@KateMessner Liked Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow way more than I expected! If you haven’t read Remarkably Bright Creatures, give that a try- best book I read last summer!
@Hayo_luke I check in am before first bell because we get updates on kids or the week from admin. Then I usually check at night for students who need help. Take your school email off your phone though- that was best advice I received! I check it way less now!
