Amb. Neeta Bhushan visited Bednarska school and interacted with Ms. Maria Kotowska, Director and Principals of Secondary & Elementary School. They briefed the Ambassador on the establishment of the Bednarska school and its functioning in detail. Ambassador also conveyed support for their efforts in enhancing India-Poland cultural and educational exchanges.

These include Prof. Adam Burakowski, former Ambassador of Poland to India, Mr. Prabal Datta, Country Head for Poland TCS, Mr. J J Singh, President, Indo-Polish Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Mr. Kartikey Johri, Honorary Consul of India in Wroclaw. A warm welcome was accorded to Ambassador-designate and discussions included ways to further strengthen India-Poland relations.

Gujarat’s tableau at the National Parade on Kartavya Path, New Delhi, beautifully showcased the journey of the Indian flag, the contribution of Madam Bhikaji Cama, and the spirit of Vande Mataram.

It also highlighted the path from Mahatma Gandhi’s Swadeshi to today’s Atmanirbhar Bharat, along with Zaverchand Meghani’s Kasumbi no Rang.

૨૬ જાન્યુઆરી ૧૯૫૦ ભારતના ઇતિહાસમાં એક અત્યંત મહત્વપૂર્ણ દિવસ છે કારણ કે તે દિવસે ભારતનું બંધારણ અમલમાં આવ્યું અને ભારત ખરા અર્થમાં એક ’પ્રજાસત્તાક રાષ્ટ્ર’ બન્યું. આ દિવસે ભારત એક પૂર્ણ ગણતંત્ર સંચાલિત દેશ બન્યો.

15 જાન્યુઆરી 1949, આ દિવસે જનરલ કેએમ કરિયપ્પાએ બ્રિટિશ કમાન્ડર-ઇન-ચીફ જનરલ સર એફઆરઆર બુચર પાસેથી ભારતીય સેનાની કમાન સંભાળી હતી. આ સાથે જ જનરલ કરિયપ્પા સ્વતંત્ર ભારતનાં પ્રથમ ભારતીય કમાન્ડર-ઇન-ચીફ બન્યાં હતાં. આ ઐતિહાસિક ક્ષણની યાદમાં 15 જાન્યુઆરીને આર્મી ડે તરીકે ઉજવવામાં આવે છે.
