Now that the @rpharms#RPSElections 2024 have closed it is time to thank all RPS Members and Fellows who voted and all candidates for a vibrant, peaceful and exciting campaign. Hopefully when the results are released from tomorrow onwards we will have an overall turnout circa 15%+
With only a day left in the @rpharms board elections, can I congratulate all candidates for an informative and at times collaborative canvassing for votes.
I wish you *all* the very best, and remind members to use their vote - please.

@voteforsteve Thank you to the current board members that have taken time out to discuss this. But this needs the society to step up and provide clarity #rpselection
@voteforsteve I also think more can be done during the application process, to make the structures and processes more transparent. To give a better grounding of realism for any candidate campaign

RPS to be more relevant, inclusive, and representative, support pharmacists to take on leadership roles at grassroots, regional and national levels.
We need more protection for our PCN workforce abandoned by the PCN DES.
For those still waiting, please use your power to vote and have a say in the future of our profession
To the voters, thank you for engaging in this process. Whether you voted for me or for another candidate, your participation is the most important. #rpselections
RPS voter, X has not been a natural forum for me, but have enjoyed some of the conversations. To get a real feel for my values, beliefs and vision please check me out on LinkedIn. Search RPSelections to see other candidates #rpselections

Calling on all @rpharms Members and Fellows yet to vote.Hopefully by now you will have had time to read most of the candidates statements and watched some videos.Use the opportunity of the weekend to cast your vote for the candidates you believe in. Voting ends 5pm on Monday!!
@voteforsteve@Pharmacistdaz@grahamsphillips@Clairewynn@mikemaguire66@rpharms@TheGPhC How do you define right for our patients within the context of driving the need l for a RC? I canโt get my head around it.
Difficult when Iโm not working clinically like many others? (A recent change)
Would you see the RC just for registered pharmacists working clinically?
@mike_hannay@tony_schofield@rpharms@YasminKarsan@mikemaguire66 So many of us not directly employed by the NHS leaves credentialing not viable unless financial levers accompany this, which means bursaries beyond just the training costs and financially viable services that mandate credentials
@Pharmacistdaz@mike_hannay@tony_schofield@rpharms@YasminKarsan@mikemaguire66 I agree, much assumption made about the need for a RC, but any change needs to be based on the broader professional needs not just members. Pharma seem to be excluded from many discussions but have much to offer with their non-promotional arms and collaborative agreements
