GTS successfully supported the emergency shutdown of one of Qatar’s largest gas-to-liquid plants on the overhauling of a critical turbo machine, a Booster Air Compressor (BAC).

From the removal of the BAC bundle at site to transportation of the machine to GTS workshop, GTS conducted detailed strip and cleaning inspection, rotor swapping with a refurbished spare rotor and bearing and IGV inspection to ensure reliability.
