🔴 The County Government of #Mombasa is scapegoating an individual for systemic failures it has long ignored. The recent interdiction of the Chief Executive Officer of Coast General Teaching and Referral Hospital (CGTRH), Dr. Iqbal Khandwalla, is a shocking display of administrative high-handedness. The CEO was interdicted without a mandatory Show Cause Letter or any opportunity to respond to the allegations.

While the County Government hides behind a facade of “public interest,” KMPDU views this as blatant political interference and a total abandonment of due process. Dr. Khandwalla is a distinguished professional whose career is being sabotaged through a sham administrative process designed to appease political masters at the expense of professional integrity.

Failure to address these issues will result in industrial action within SEVEN (7) DAYS from today. KMPDU stands firm: we will not allow professional expertise to be sacrificed on the altar of political convenience.
