Spent Monday with Urbandale’s leadership team learning about HLPs when it comes to students with IEPs. Their work reminded me how powerful an IEP can be when true collaboration and respect exists between all stakeholders. #BVUEdAdmin
Enjoyed working with our admin team to more tightly align our K-12 behavior plan. Creating alignment ensures consistent practices throughout our building so teachers, students, & parents know what to expect and can work together to promote positive behavior. #BVUEdAdmin
We had a great time packaging meals at Meals from the Heartland today. We worked as part of a larger group to help package over 7,200 meals in a little over two hours! #feedingkids2024
This semester, the other Instructional Coaches and I have jumped into the Get Better Faster framework for providing feedback to our new teachers.
Thankful for my #BVUEdAdmin class for introducing me to the idea. We’ve learned a lot, and are excited to see the impact!
Our MS/HS staff kicked off Monday's professional development day by showing off their touchdown dance moves. What a great way to get hyped up for a day of Leader in Me and proficiency scale work! #BVUEdAdmin

Homecoming hallway decorating is one of my favorite traditions at Earlham! @EHSCouncil does a great job building culture by giving each class a hallway to decorate!

Mr. Helmus is intentionally planning lessons to incorporate strategies from Building Thinking Classrooms in Mathematics by Peter Liljedahl.
Earlier this week, I caught his Geometry students as they collaborated to solve line segment problems.

Loved seeing our RISE Advisory teachers and students engaging with our very first Leader In Me lessons. Students identified their positive and negative habits and discussed how to adopt new positive habits.
Can't wait to see more meaningful conversations! #BVUEdAdmin
Congrats to Hannah Frank and Lily Conry for making it in our volunteer spotlight! They are our members with the most service hours. Hannah has 20 hours and Lily has 13.5 hours!
