We've had great day of professional development at the PTHub today. Julia & Esther led an excellent session to upskill cover supervisors & Jenny from Thrive OT worked with delegates to implement sensory circuits in order to support pupil's motor development & emotional regulation
#jogoconference and @realdcameron.
Fantastic day as always, with engaging and insightful keynote speakers- bouncing text, music and an Elvis impersonator. Book me in for next year. D:Ream - Things Can Only Get Better (1993) (Official Video) https://t.co/pX19dmFyX1 via @YouTube
@daraobriain Great show, as always. I love being the 5% of the audience that gets the strange looks for laughing at the Irish references. #dothewelshknow

@KwikFitCS big shout out to my brother from another mother Cain Barrow at Market Harborough. Thank you for your patience and advice today. Shout out to Tom too who actually did the work.
@daraobriain I’m sure it’s raibh. But then I’m not gaelscoil just old enough to have compulsory Irish for 14 years. Which when living in an English speaking country can be great fun. 😂

@MagpieChatter @ICANcharity@WalkerWorcester @AppgOracy As an OT in the special schools system I agree @MagpieChatter communication is about so much more than speech. Finding a voice and self advocating is more than speech.
How Thrive OTs can work with special schools.
Thrive aims to provide a flexible service for children and their teaching staff. There are many children in special schools who have occupational therapy on their statement or who would benefit from occupational therapy input.
