@AustGunSafety Good news. The appearance of a firearm matters and should remain one of the considerations when categorising firearms. Gel Blasters can and do hold the appearance of a military style weapon, and should be subject to the same appearance laws.
@GladysB@m_culturalnsw There should be an automatic review of gun licences where a person is to an A.V.O or when requested by a party to a custody dispute. Without strong firearm laws around DV, these lives will keep being lost - inside families and outside where there's mental health issues..
Australia's system of arms classification is outdated. New high-powered rapid-fire firearms are incorrectly classified because this type of gun wasn't imported 2 decades ago when our classification was introduced. We need classification overhauled before import laws are changed.
If you're even just holding a gun, and you don't have a licence, you're breaking the law. These guys should be showing some leadership for their communities. https://t.co/4PUmwhiK3i
A firearm collector must remove all firearm pins to be deemed a collection, BUT current NSW legislation doesn't require gun owners to explain why they need additional guns. Why would you need 100's of working guns? https://t.co/2poTsNReU6
School shooting ranges send mixed messages to students. We need to be consistent – guns do not belong in schools. Sign our petition. https://t.co/ZIxkySlNXx #guncontrol#nogunsinschools
