This is such a dumb take. Golf is so hard. He HASN’T BEEN ABLE TO HIT A LEGIT IRON FOR OVER A YEAR! He finally got them. Just wait. He’s gonna cook. Best thing to happen to golf in a long time was Bryson proving he’s bigger than golf. A lame penalty brought the civil war out in the open. Bryson needs to finish it off. Take a flame thrower to the whole golf establishment and media and burn the whole SOB down. Leave it with nothing. We can build a better future! Haha! I can see it now. The Player Ruling class.

Brought the golf establishment to its knees. Best shit to happen to the snowflake golf media in a long time. I get it. Bryson isn’t for everyone. But The View at the Golf Channel is for nobody. At least not 90% of their audience. In one single weekend, Bryson proved that he really is bigger than golf. And if you don’t think @brianrolapp saw that and said…WE NEED BRYSON…you’re out of your mind. The British Open fans loved him. The kids love him. The fans love him. The only people that don’t love him is The View @GolfChannel. @brysondech needs to put a dagger in this. He needs to go to war. I think this was the start. Maybe it’s been building. But we’ve got another act coming and I for one cannot wait. This is going to be spectacular! The Golf Channel has been the greatest channel in the history of television. They serve one singular purpose and if you’re a golf junkie you can watch it 24/7. I didn’t grow up with cable. And I’d watch it as a 11 year old on vacation when my whole family was sleeping until I feel asleep with remote. When LIV happened…it completely lost its collective mind. It turned into a giant mess. All they had to do was leave LIV alone. Let it be. Instead it went to war against the viewer and as a result created a situation in which the establishment lost their power. YouTube became the gasoline. Bryson is the flare. And he’s about to drop it!

The benefit of the doubt is supposed to be given to the golfer. There are pictures of him lining up before he hit it and then just before he struck it and there wasn’t anything that improved his path. The grass is the same. These golfers are so good at policing themselves. Bryson is standing in tall grass. He has to go over a body of water. He’s going to stand behind the ball. The DP World tour folks walking with him didn’t see anything wrong with it. I think the RA made a mistake and I thought Bryson’s reaction was perfect. “I didn’t do anything!!! You’re actively messing with my ability to win this tourney!!! And I’m going to fight to the death to defend myself!” The idea that a player is just supposed to role over an accept it is dumb. This is 2026. If you’re going to take 2 strokes from me for something I believe is wrong I’m for sure going to let you know how I feel about it.

That’s the point. Nobody does. I’m not exaggerating…maybe a couple years ago Rory was fine. But once he took the positions he took with LIV and just acted like he was holier than thou and just started spouting off nonsense…we saw the grift. This guy didn’t care than anyone went to LIV. He really didn’t. No chance. He’s friends with a lot of those guys. He was just jealous that they did and he was left holding the bag. And he wet his diaper. And when that happened…I’m not exaggerating…ever capitalistic male under the age of 45 with an ounce of Testosterone in their body instantly began hating him. And now it’s reached a boiling point. This is a guy that shit on Olympic golf, then flipped. He shit on the Ryder Cup, then he realized how he could monetize it. He’s just sooo fake. Try’s to be the smartest guy in the room in a room full of athletes. He’s 5’6. Tiny little hobbit. And he acts like he’s Tiger. He didn’t win a major for 9 years and the GOLF MEDIA ESTABLISHMENT LOVES HIM…which also continues to make people HATE HIM. AND THEN WHEN YOU SEE HOW BRYSON AND DJ AND ALL THESE DUDES WERE TREATED…people just can’t stand what the media has done and their puppet Rory has been in lock step with them. Saudi Arabia has its finger prints all over golf. LIV was fine. People should have just let it go and it all would have been fine but Rory is going to retire from the PGA Tour and be the most hated golfer of all time. Watch. People HATE HIM in America. Hate him. Bryson is hated by the Media but he’s the people’s champ now. He built what he’s built himself! And Rory has built everything with great golf obviously but he’s performative! No. Sir. Fake would be Rory. Bryson doesn’t come across as fake at all. He comes across as someone that 1. Is gonna do what’s best for Bryson and 2. Is going to get as many kids to like golf as possible. But he doesn’t give a shit about pleasing adults. If it doesn’t serve the kids and it doesn’t serve his interests…he’s not about that. The golf establishment isn’t someone he’s trying to appease. And I think that’s the most bad ass thing we’ve seen in awhile. It’s not like he’s gotten the help of the media to be the biggest figure in golf the way Phil Mickelson or Rory have. Bryson literally did this all on his own. His fans are legit.
