Access to the means of self-defense has long been understood as a fundamental right, one not granted by governments, but inherent to every individual who seeks to protect themselves or those they love from imminent harm. No person should be forced to rely on the state for protection from criminals. History repeatedly teaches us that governments, under the guise of safeguarding the public, have just as often expanded control, restricted freedoms, and fostered greater violence to secure obedience and compliance. It is in these moments that we hear everyday people echoing prepackaged talking points, repeating them with the enthusiasm of well-trained parrots, unaware of where those ideas originated or what purpose they serve.
The right to bear arms, indeed, to wield any tool necessary for survival, predates constitutions, governments, and nations. It is woven into the fabric of human existence. From the earliest humans who fashioned tools to hunt and defend their tribes, to communities throughout history who stood their ground against threats both foreign and domestic, the instinct for self-preservation has been inseparable from the human experience. To deny this instinct today is to deny thousands of years of human development, resilience, and hard-earned wisdom.
I refuse to surrender that truth. I won’t accept propaganda disguised as moral superiority or fear masquerading as reason. Nor will I bend to the demands of those who misunderstand the very rights that allow them to speak so freely. Instead, I choose honesty. I choose history. I choose the inherent dignity of self-defense, a dignity that belongs to every person, regardless of background or circumstance.
RFK Jr: "Two weeks ago we ended, under your leadership, a twenty year war on women".
Three out of five men in this shot have been accused of sexual misconduct, harassment or abusive behaviour towards women. A fourth signed into law a near-total abortion ban in his state.
🚨 BREAKING: Rep. Tim Burchett just filed to become Chairman of the DOGE Committee in the House
"I know the cards are stacked against me...but I sure would like the opportunity. I think I got the backbone and GUTS to go after this spending, and I think I know where a lot of it's hidden!"
YES! I support this 100%!
If anything is to get done with DOGE on the Congressional side, Burchett is the man to do it! 🔥
"I have officially put my name in to chair the DOGE committee...I sure would love the opportunity."
I’m officially covering The Pentagon as an independent journalist.
My coverage on this Pentagon hasn’t always been fluffy pieces, but leadership still granted me access to have a seat in the briefing room.
Speaks volumes!
Thankful for the opportunity!
