Chester Zoo has welcomed Womble, only the second aardvark born in its 94 year history
When his mother couldn't produce enough milk, keepers stepped in to bottle-feed him around the clock
Richard Marles said some very prophetic words:
"I think people look to their national leader as a person of character, and right now our national leader is a man who lies.
It's as simple as that.
And I absolutely think that people care about that. And it should be the case that you are consistent, and when you say something on one day, on camera, recorded, you can't then down the track pretend you never said it.
Because if that is where you're at, and that is where the prime minister is at, then as we seek to lead us through this very difficult period, we simply can't rely on a single word that he actually says."
- Richard Marles
In Switzerland, a woman took care of two lions when they were small but later the government put them in a zoo.
She came to visit them after 7 years, and you can see their reaction!

Seeing a bloke give up his family's Friday night fish and chips and donate $29 genuinely stopped me in my tracks.
That $29 probably meant far more to him than my $1,000 donation meant to me.
I've been a One Nation member for some time and make regular contributions to the party because I believe in supporting the causes and values I care about. But seeing that post reminded me what grassroots politics is really about.
It's not about wealthy donors, lobby groups or corporate interests. It's about everyday Australians making sacrifices because they believe their country can do better.
A husband, a wife and two kids going without their usual Friday night treat so they can contribute $29 to a cause they believe in is something I respect enormously.
The $29 bloke inspired me.
Different amounts. Same belief. Same hope for Australia's future.
Sometimes the smallest donations carry the biggest message.
Love your work @PaulineHansonOz

We were absolutely floored by the millions of you that watched us make silly water sillouettes on our driveway last summer. We are starting out the summer the only way we know how, and this time it’s all about movies! What else do you want to see? We have a whole summer ahead, a driveway and a hose. The possibilities are endless!!!
The fosterer came back for their foster dog. The moment the dog saw them, it lit up with pure joy — eyes squinted in happiness, smiling so big that its whole face wrinkled up with relief.
The fosterer gently said, 'I told you we'd come back… I told you.'" 💗
Activist: "Your cows are putting carbon into the atmosphere."
Farmer: "Where did they get it?"
Activist: "What?"
Farmer: "The carbon. Where did the cow get it before it put it anywhere."
Activist: "From... eating?"
Farmer: "From eating grass. And where did the grass get it."
Activist: "The soil?"
Farmer: "The air. The grass pulled it out of the air last spring. The cow ate the grass. The cow breathed some of it back out. It went back into the air it came from."
Activist: "But it's still going into the atmosphere."
Farmer: "It's going back. There's a difference between a thing going somewhere and a thing going back. You've described a circle and you're frightened of it."
Activist: "Then just don't have the cow."
Farmer: "The grass still dies in autumn. It rots where it falls. The carbon goes back into the air either way, just without anyone getting fed in the middle."
Activist: "It's not that simple."
Farmer: "It's grass, cow, breath, grass. Or it's grass, rot, air, grass. Same circle, fewer dinners. If that's complicated for you I'd stay away from the water cycle. That one's got clouds in it."
