जीवन सुखी कैसे करें?

प्रत्येक प्राणी अपना जीवन सुखी चाहता है। कोई भी दुखी नहीं होना चाहता। मन के दुख तथा तन के दुख; दोनों भिन्न-भिन्न हैं। परन्तु, जब मन दुखी होता है, तो वह तन को भी दुखी कर देता है। जब तन दुखी होता है, तो वह मन को भी करता है। परन्तु, तन के दुखी होने का इतना प्रभाव नहीं होता, जितना मन के दुखी होने का प्रभाव; तन पर पड़ता है।
यदि आप सचमुच में सुखी जीवन व्यतीत करना चाहते हैं; तो किसी के अवगुण व गल्तियाँ निकालनी बन्द कर दीजिए। और, अपनी गल्तियाँ व अवगुण ढूंढने शुरू करो। आत्मविश्लेषण कीजिए। अपनी गल्तियों को सुधारना शुरु कर दीजिए। किसी के गुण देख कर, उसके गुण खुद अपनाना शुरु कीजिए। उसके गुणों की नक्ल कीजिए। जैसे: यदि कोई मुस्कराकर मिलता है; आप भी मुस्कराकर मिलना आरम्भ कीजिए। जैसे: किसी का गुण है कि वह बहुत मीठा बोलता है, आप भी मीठा बोलना आरम्भ कीजिए। ऐसा करने से, आपका जीवन एक-दो दिन में ही सुखी होना आरम्भ हो जाएगा तथा आप को एक महीने के अंदर प्रत्यक्ष पता चल जाएगा कि आप कितने सुखी हो गए हैं; पहले आप कितने दुखी थे। परन्तु, इसके लिए आप को कठिन अभ्यास करने की आवश्यकता है 'यदा यदा अभ्यास से जड़मत होत सुजान’। आत्मविश्लेषण तथा अभ्यास करने से, आप सचमुच में बहुत सुखी हो सकते हैं।
