@elonmusk It's like complaining that American minimum wage is too low, while you choose to buy Chinese products because American products "cost too much".
@SUBWAY They should be committed to a relationship with customers. No customer service. An app that fails and takes your money. I remember when going to Subway meant waiting in line - nobody in line now. They pushed their customers away.
@latimes@CarlsJr HAD a strong brand identity and fan base - but then they changed their brand and ignored their fans. They did several things that alienated that fan base. They are struggling now because of lack of sales! While everyone one else is busy, Carls Jr is empty.
@latimes The first @CarlsJr app became good, only to be abandoned with a message saying a better version was “coming soon” - and no replacement for YEARS! They finally brought out a new app, which constantly fails. I ended up going to McDonalds because their app worked so much better.
@latimes I was a Carls Jr fan for a long time. Was - not now - and rarely eat there anymore. You can see the lack of sales at any location. The real problem is Carls Jr ignores its customers, and they put all their trust in an IT that is destroying them. Their app has consistently failed.
@latimes They lost a large part of their customer base by ignoring customer dissatisfaction. They keep running specials that require purchasing TWO burgers - which most customers aren’t willing to do. They keep pushing customers to use their app, but keep failing to have it work.
@TaraBull Also, you should not be required to share tips, unless the customer requests it. They provide the service that the tip is based on.
If a cook or busser provides service that helps the waiter get better tips, then the waiter tips them for that - not a forced share.
@TaraBull How would that work for sales tax? "Sales Tax is 20%, if you can't afford 20% sales tax, you can't afford to buy it".
And there are issues with percentages.
Does working at an expensive restaurant mean you deserve more than someone working just as hard at a cheap restaurant?
@TaraBull I think tipping went wrong when the government decided it was wages.
There should not be a lower wage for "tipped employees".
Tips should not require reporting, nor should they be taxed - it's not a wage, it's a gift.
And there shouldn't be any expectation to give a tip.
@Microsoft@satyanadella Amazing how much a company can make by totally disregarding it's users. They even have "we want to hear from you" moments, where they use a survey to find better ways to market to you and don't offer any way to actually receive user's comments. They don't care about users.
@attheromance@SUBWAY Yes, I disputed the charge and Subway issued a refund. But the frustration and waste of time will never be repaid. Turns out, this is a common issue with the new app - and they haven’t done anything about it. And there is NO customer service.
@SUBWAY Do not order with the app! Check the NEWEST app reviews - people are being charged for orders, then order disappears and you get no food, and you are already charged! No customer service. You must dispute charge through your bank. I WILL NEVER ORDER SUBWAY AGAIN!
I don’t know what happened @SUBWAY but it is the worst now! The app steals your money, the website is unusable, and customer support seems to not exist! I WILL NEVER ORDER SUBWAY AGAIN!!!
@MattEinfeld@SUBWAY Matt - don’t do it! The app is horrible and will charge you without placing the order. You pay and get nothing - and customer service is horrible!!!
