There’s an old Chinese proverb that I love:
“He who blames others has a long way to go on his journey. He who blames himself is halfway there. He who blames no one has arrived.”
I think love is revolutionary because, when it’s done right, it makes room for accountability, growth, healing, laughter, joy, connection, tenderness, and the feeling of coming home. Maybe it’s naive of me to see it that way, but when love is nurtured with care when it’s honored, tended to, and shared wholeheartedly it becomes something transformative. It changes people. It nourishes what has been neglected, fills what has been empty, and offers something increasingly rare: hope. So much hope.
I’m in love with this sentence:
“The degree to which a person can grow is directly proportional to the amount of truth he can accept about himself without running away.”
Underrated life advice: Become a purveyor of encouragement. Notice what's good in people. Tell them when they do something well. Celebrate their progress. Root for them to win. Be inspired by their success. The world already has enough critics. Be different.
Being attractive but neurodivergent is such a weird experience because people become fascinated with your appearance. Then uncomfortable when they realize you require depth, honesty, reassurance, patience, and emotional intelligence.
all relationships can survive mistakes, but they cannot survive patterns. Repeated behavior isn't a mistake, it's a decision, apologies lose meaning when the actions never change
Unless it's mad, passionate, extraordinary love, it's a waste of your time. There are too many mediocre things in life. Love shouldn't be one of them..🩷
You gotta be a delusional optimist to see a version of yourself no one else around you can currently see long before you manifest that reality, the most successful people have this trait

Love is finding someone that feels like home to your heart. Someone you can laugh with, be soft with, be honest with… and still choose each other even on difficult days.
