@NecktieSalvage I grew up further up north (Osceola county) but haven’t lived in MI since mid 90s when I was a teen. 15 years in Chicagoland and then back to MI in 2019. There are trade offs for sure, schools and restaurants aren’t as good, but it’s worth it for house and property
@NecktieSalvage In between Grand Rapids and Muskegon. It’s lovely and rural and there are still some nice small towns but the property values keep rising and the towns offer less. Moving here from Chicago suburbs was an adjustment.
@NecktieSalvage I hate taking the small town black pill, but many have been on the decline since the late 90s. Families with money move out and dollar stores move in. The bleak future is pajama pants.

@MengsMullet This reminds me of the Jimmy Dean sausage complaint call guy. I was excited to see Warner but I used to frequent chicago indies and was familiar with him though.
