I'm used to not need God to explain most of the things that happen, so the fact that we don't know something doesn't make me think god is the cause.

Then Sidney Fox proved that this aminoacids could form chains in some circumstances. The next steps are still unconfirmed, but that doesn't mean God did It (although it could).

But there have been experiements that proved that the essential components of the cells can appear in the circumstances that the Earth had when life supposedly appeared. And although it's accepted, it's not claimed to be proved.

A theory is accepted and used because it has enough evidence to support it even though it could have another explanation, and is not fully accepted as true. It's just something that works

But the thing is that everything you religious people say that happened seems physically impossible and only "happened a long time ago" and will never happen again. Bad coincidence

@LDiggley @DelusionPosting Friendly reminder that the religious interpretations of morals have changed along time. Also, if you can't prove your god is real, you can't prove your morals are correct. The non-religous way of defining right and wrong is actually choosing the morals as a democratic society.

Scientists, on the other hand, have theories that follow natural laws about how life could have appeared. Why and how was the universe created? We don't know yet, but that doesn't mean a god did It. (Agnostic here btw)
