Operating as a centre-back/left centre-back, possesses an outstanding passing repertoire. Genuine playmaker from deep zones, capable of breaking lines through the thirds, switching play with precision, and dictating possession from the back.

Brilliant left foot (a weapon in build-up), allowing him to progress attacks rather than merely circulate possession. Outstanding distribution abilities.

What truly impresses me is his work without the ball. He reads danger early, positions himself intelligently, and consistently arrives in the right place at the right time.

Clearances, blocks, interceptions, recovery runs: he does the fundamentals at an elite level. Rather than diving into challenges, he prefers to anticipate and extinguish attacks before they develop.

Pace allows him to defend large spaces, his 1v1 defending is aggressive yet controlled, and he looks remarkably comfortable defending wide channels when isolated.

In an era where centre-backs are constantly exposed in transition, those qualities are invaluable.

20 y/o and already one of South Africa's brightest defensive prospects. You did your country proud today.
